Nice location - not far from Hammersmith bus and tube stations. Pleasant but not overly talkative staff. Hotel was nice and quiet. Room was clean but the clothes storage was near to falling over, plug socket and light fittings damaged and potentially dangerous, metal bed frame broken and very noisy. The room would have benefitted from having blackout curtains as the morning light flooded in at around 6am.

It was nice and clean. The ladies are really nice and helpful at the dinning and house keeping.Stayed in the top floor so one night around 3am there was a continuos fire alarm for more than 5 mins it was very scary and disturbing,all the guests were running out. The duty manager came so late. We were out in the cold for long time.Total panic state, esp that time of the night. Something should be sorted. It can get bit noisy by the other rooms.

It was close to tube station and only few stops into the city and main attractions. Also good was supermarket across road. Our room was at front of hotel and impossible to sleep from traffic noise and bright lights left on outside and street lights.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was perfect for us. The bathroom was very tiny and there were many stairs to climb with the luggage. Wifi was not dependable it mostly did not work. It was nice to have the breakfast available.

The bed was a box of springs. The room was very, very small and noisy. The bathroom had been remodeled nicely, but so small you could not stand in it with the door shut. The office staff was not very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was the one bright spot. The food was good and the staff there was nice.

Spotless.
Rooms were spotless and the staff were very friendly. Perfect for a stay for a couple of days. Good WiFi, great location for events at the Shepherd’s Bush empire. Train station nearby and shops, cinema and bars were all within walking distance. Would definitely use again.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the shower went from stone cold to no water to boiling hot continually without touching the controls, as did the basin taps. A very uncomfortable stay :(

Worst stay at a hotel - ever!
Worst stay of my life. Never again. I was in Room 10 at the rear of the hotel, which I was pleased about, so as not to hear road noise. But at 4am I was rudely woken from my sleep with this mechanical brrrrrring noise that came in 10 second bursts, then quiet for a moment - then more brrrrrring. It was awful. This cycle continued til 5am. I was then unable to get back to sleep, properly. I really hoped for a good nights sleep to deal with that next day's meetings - but not a chance. I complained to the gentleman at reception when I checked out, who could not understand what the noise was that I heard. I suggested that other stayers must have said something to him this morning about the racket, but he said no one else had complained. I asked for a refund as it was such an awful night. He said he could not sanction such a request and I would need to put it in writing via email and send it to their info@ address, which I did. I am still awaiting a response.

Nice, simple hotel.
The hotel was nice enough, but not ideal. It's not a good place if you have mobility issues. I travelled with my toddler and buggy and booked a room for 3 people. We were on the top floor, I lost count after 50 stairs. It was really the only low point. It did have a private shower room which was nice, if a little on the small side, but was clean and the staff were lovely. They did find a safe space to leave the buggy on the ground floor so I didn't need to carry it up and down each time. We never made it to the free breakfast, due to sleeping later, though there's some nice cafes close by. The toiletries and little fridge in the room was a nice touch.I would stay again, albeit with out the small children.

Good location with clean room
Great location, a 10-minute walk from the nearest underground station. We stayed in room 4, booked as a family room. Great size, it had 2 double beds & 2 singles. Very clean & presentable. The only downside, it doesn't have any air conditioning. We were lucky with the weather, it reached 30 degrees, but that did mean the room was very hot - & being in the basement, there is only one very small window to open. There is a fan, but it's a little noisy when you have a 5-year-old who's asleep. The breakfast was ok, you can have cereal, yogurt, or eggs & beans. No full English, but it is prepared fresh. On the whole, nice hotel - perfect for one night away.

The place is okay if the location is important to you. Lots of stairs and no lift as is usual in these kinds of hotels, so if you have heavy baggage it’s best to request a ground/1st floor room in advance.

Mattress was awful, bed sheets and pillows didnt seem clean i found hairs and staines. Nicest part of it was the shower! Wouldnt stay there again its more like a shared house than a hotel but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room size is very good. Location is good. Though its a long walk to the stations (Shepherd Bush or Hammersmith) especially if there are children and luggages. What we dislike is the wifi. The room had less or no signal at all for internet connectivity. Not sure if its because of the room being in the basement.

not worth the cost.
The hotel is situated in a suburb of london right off the central or piadilly line. its about a 10 minute walk to the station. if you have a lot of bags donts expect to have an easy time getting to, then hauling your bags up the stairs. there are no lifts/elevators so the 3 story flight up to the top can be harsh for some with a lot of luggage. the beds in the 2x twin are small and hard and i constantly worried about falling off. in the morning it will be best to wake before everyone else so that you guarantee that you will get a semi consistent shower. the shower will go from warm to scalding in a moments notice. it will make you angry if you are not prepared for this.

Looked like the hotel had just been refurbished, en-suite in the single room was a little small. Continental breakfast included fresh cooked scrambled or fried eggs on toast. Very pleased.

Nothing Royal about the Hotel!
I was expecting a modest stay at the Royal London Hotel. The description made it sound closer to all the sights that it was. And being close to a mall isn't that great of an attraction. There guy at the reception office is the worst. Since there was no lift he offered to help me with my luggage to my room, I thank him for the help. He told me it would take a little bit, I was okay with that. 20 minutes pass, I go down to see whats the hold up, he hasn't moved from the computer and made no effort to complete what he offered. I told him I'm taking my luggage, only when he saw me hauling my luggage up the flight of stairs did he help. When I checked in the room was boiling, the window was open and they had left on the small fan on in the room. It was still sun out, but it was late afternoon. I thought, by setting the fan to the highest setting (3) it should cool down by the time I return from dinner. I came home pretty late, that room was still boiling! Before I left I asked for towels since room service did not provide any. The receptionist told me there would be some in my room when I arrived. I had to know on the receptionist/office and wake him up, it was around 10pm to get my towels. The bathroom has its own set of problems. The toilet didn't flush properly and only hot scolding water in bath! Never check into their "motels" ever. They upgraded the wrong stuff, they should spend money really fixing the place! It doesn't cover all the bad.
