Disgusting Accommodation DO NOT stay here
This accommodation was disgusting and should not be used by anyone. When we arrived there was no one there to greet us, we were given a code to a key safe. As we went in the smell of damp was palpable. There was no electricity, and the only way to contact the manager was through Whatsapp. After a wait of just over half an hour, someone was sent to sort out the electric. Unfortunately this meant we could see the disgusting state that the rooms were in even more. To say they were substandard is a gross understatement. The first room we were told to use had no bed linen and was more like a store room, the beds were all damp to the touch, and the stairs down to it were a death trap. After several messages we were told to use a different room, which was only slightly better. The bathrooms were black with mould and stank of damp, the shared bathroom had a hole in the window and the cistern was constantly running. I have bad asthma and was so affected by the damp I had to take my inhaler. Our children were so devastated by the state of the place, it spoilt our weekend away completely. We asked for someone to come and see us but no one even answered the message. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone even for a dog. Needless to say we did NOT stay here. If it wasn't for my partners family coming to the rescue this special family treat would have been ruined. We would like our money back as this was misrepresented and looked nothing at all like the pictures on the website.

This is more like a very poorly ran air bnb. Use whatsapp to call the phone number as it shows him online and he will EVENTUALLY pick up. The other option is to pound on the front door. There is a guy who lives in the building who will let you in. Once in the room, we had to buy our own towels, TV was broken, roof leaked during heavy rain, and the toilet was a bit janky. This room worked though for 3 friends wanting to meet up and use as a launching point for London. If that is what you're looking for this is a great property, just don't expect any of the comforts or conveniences you would get at a hotel. again, use WhatsApp to make calls and text. The two days I spent calling, the only responses I got were on WhatsApp.

The most terrible experience ever.
Your website has false information about this place. It says there is lift and there isn't any at the property. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the stairs are very narrow and made it almost impossible for us to carry our luggage. The website says there is a private bathroom and there is only one bathroom to be shared with all the other guests in the property and it's on the first floor, so we had to come down 2 floors to use the toilet and it was busy most of the times. The host is very rude and unfriendly at all, it was very difficult to get hold of him. We have tried to contact the costumer service immediately to cancel the booking and look for somewhere else to go but the number is no longer in use, so we where trapped in this terrible place for 2 days. It was the most terrible experience I ever had.

We didn't even check in because the guy wasn't available even after calling him for hours we had to search for a new hotel i expect a full refund please and to remove this hotel from your website it does not help with the credibility of your platform

I liked the location. It was perfect for coming and going in any direction with trains, buses, hop on hop off bus... Very cheap price, especially in our case, a family with 4 children, it made a difference to save more money for food. We had the top floor , a room with 3 beds. The inconvenient was that the only bathroom was 2 floors down and shared with other people from 3 rooms.Depending on luck, how long you could need to wait in line for the bathroom. Arriving at night, it was scary at first. Alltough we received the entry code by email with one day in advance. Our plane was 2-3 hours late and I was lucky I asked for an entry code in case of unexpected delay. The building had a narrow stair, partial in dark, the room smelled terrible and we were not able to open the windows at the beginning, in the first 15 minutes. However, after we opened the windows and got fresh air, we appreciated the beds as pretty comfortable, clean, and also we had access to a balcony next to our room that was almost private and quiet toward the back. The front street was actually very noisy all night but we were tired and sleep very good anyway. (with opened windows) For the price, we didn't have much expectations and sleeping comfortable in those beds was enough. We wouldn't trust the safety of our room, so we carried all valuables with us, leaving only clothes in the room during the day. In fact, we left our only towel in the bathroom for 5 minutes & someone stolen it. We had to buy another.

The beds are uncomfortable, the toilet is dirty. We saw a huge slug walking in the bathroom wall. This property should not be available to rent, i don’t understand how the reviews are not lower. I booked this thinking that it was an accommodation in line with the 3.8 avg score it had, but it actually should be lower than one

Very disappointing. The room was filthy and had mould over parts of the walls and roof. The bathroom stunk, and was filthy and run down. I had to buy toilet paper. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfy. Good location. Wouldn’t recommend staying.

Rotten place.
This blue door and unreadable phone number was all there was. When I got the number figured it was busy and mailbox was full. Once the right code was given to us the inside had 4 rooms on 4 floors, (1 bathroom) doors open with keys on beds. Stains on sheets. The stairs were small with an unsafe rickety rail. The door knobs were loose and there was no safety or person to meet at this place. We did not stay there but they got my $200. $55 a night for 3 nights and then a mess of cleaning fees. Not the B&B I thought it was. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

When you book at this accommodation the address given is different to the accommodation you stay in. The owner and his colleague that we dealt with were really helpful (it was with customer services at hotel.com we had issues with)! Ideal location 10min walk from kings cross. Area is quiet. Can’t really fault it!

Well I know you get what you pay for and my expectations were not high. It wasn’t clean and had blood on the tv stand. A window opening on to an outside area where people were smoking this window couldn’t lock so room wasn’t safe.

This is not a hotel, it is a house of multiple occupancy with available rooms advertised on Hotels.com. It resembles a seedy brothel / crack den - I am not exaggerating for effect. A group of young men were stood smoking cannabis in the communal yard at the back when we first arrived, after the door was opened by an aggressive man. The house itself is filthy. Black mould covers the windows and curtains and it looks abandoned from the outside. We left immediately as we had our children with us. The rooms featured in pictures on the website are not in this property - it is falsely advertised and I believe I should be refunded because of this.

If you like brothel chic, give this a go!
Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. When you get there, you're greeted with a locked door. You don't even know if you're in the right place as there is no signage. The doorbell is broken and has a little sign on it to ring a mobile number. I rang it. It went to voicemail. Fifteen minutes later I got a text telling me how to get in and giving me my room number. The key was in the room. The wardrobe had no doors, a bent rail and no coat hangers. The shared bathroom light was strobing - fortunately I don't have photosensitive epilepsy. There was a toaster so I thought I'd make my breakfast in the room. There were plates, forks, spoons but no knives. In between the two double beds, was a packet of wet wipes. And nothing else. Massive pink stains on the bedsheet. Yuck. I know it was cheap but this was taking the proverbial.

Check in was a horrific experience. Text 2 days before and the day before and finally got a reply when I pointed out I could see the they were opened. Nb. Text the number, calls won’t be answered. After 15 mins on the doorstep the man dropping off the laundry spoke to someone inside (both claiming they didn’t work there) and told me to wait In room 2 on the sofa. The man told me it was a nice room and they generally put guys upstairs. After an hour waiting I requested the room as the key was there waiting and got a yes ok. Could have done that an hour before as it made me late for work. If staying as a solo traveller or couple request room 2 as it’s actually a decent room and next to the bathroom. would assume room 1 is also nice and the higher you go the worse it is. Bed was reasonably comfy, there is a sofa and microwave. Bathroom is the next room and is clean. Has a flickering light which is irritating and gives a headache in the night. I would say don’t stay but if you book before reading reviews like myself then read this try and request a low numbered room. Area is ok, handy for transport, 24 hour shop nearby and a couple of food places.

Great location - 10 mins from Kings Cross - great service - they even went and got us a hairdryer Getting the keys was a little anoying and odd - but once we got to the place they were lovely It was a tripple room (luckily our third person cancelled ) - but only space for 2 The price was decent and the service was good - overall 8/10

For the price, I am greatly satisfied. Fab location really close to King’s Cross. Bed was clean as was the bathroom. Only fault was trying to get hold of the manager to get to my room. No hotel reception, no doorbell and he wasn’t answering his ‘phone. A small inconvenience for such a budget room.

DO NOT BOOK THIS it is not a hotel, it is a house where they rent rooms out, we didn’t stay and lost our money, when we finally got hold of the owner to give us the code to get in we found the room that we paid for had a family of 6 staying in it, we was offered another room but to be honest I wouldn’t let my dog stay there, the pictures on web sites are nothing like it is inside, there creepy men inside and a strong well of weed probably from the 2 men in the garden who was out there faces. I’m not joking DO NOT BOOK THIS.

That place is a scam! Sad that hotels.com still listing it after my phone call to them. We all might have different ideas about how clean place should be, but this place is dangerous!! Loose wires, nails sticking from the floor. Window frames that do not close, rain water running down the walls and black mold around windows and on the walls as a result. The main thing, that if there is a fire in that place, people will be trapped!!! You can not reach the owner, the guy who gave us the key claimed to be "the owner's friend". Bottom line, there are plenty of other places where you can spend your money and be treated with more respect. See the photos that I posted below: windows, black mold on the air vent, narrow stairs where you can break a leg, ceiling, and lamp shade that is attached to the ceiling. Just shows how much the owner cares about this place.

Owner not around at appointment time and after as arranged by telephone. The room was still as left by the previous people... dirty beds, floor and bathroom, waste not emptied. Had to ask several times until the room was prepared after 10 pm...still dirty and bed sheets with marks... family did not fill comfortable... not recommended.
