I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Park Avenue Baker Street Hotel and I must say, the service provided by Bashir, Anston, Muriel, and Kanisha was absolutely outstanding. As the Learning and Development Director of the number one resort and hotel in the US, I have high standards when it comes to hospitality, and they truly exceeded them. From the moment we arrived, Bashir, Anston, Muriel, and Kanisha went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. They provided us with all the necessary amenities, assisted us with our luggage, and even accommodated our late check-out request. Their attention to detail and personalized service truly made us feel valued as guests. What impressed me the most was the high level of genuine hospitality they exhibited, despite the fact that the hotel is not Forbes rated. They treated us with the same level of care and professionalism as if we were staying at a luxury resort. Their dedication to providing an exceptional guest experience is commendable and sets Park Avenue Baker Street Hotel apart from other establishments. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay in the area. The exemplary service provided by Bashir, Anston, Muriel, and Kanisha truly made our visit to Park Avenue Baker Street Hotel a delightful experience.

Good room. I was on the third floor and it is a walkup. Very clean, but the bed sheets were old and worn. Otherwise very comfortable. Good Internet, comfortable bed. Would stay here again

Accommodation was in great location for visiting the city. Only minor issue with leaking shower as housekeeping put the bath mat into the shower so each day I returned to a wet towel in the shower

Staff were fantastic, could not have been more welcoming and helpful, really great people. There is no/little sound proofing to the rooms, so the road noise is really loud and makes sleeping difficult, especially at the front of the hotel. Bring ear plugs

A tried looking place
Just a rather tired and run down place. I would have been happy paying c.120 for the place given the location but 185 for a tiny room accessed through run down hallways with school canteen grade tea and coffee facilities? This is clearly a place run without much love and care from the owner.

Small but very nice
I was there for a business trip, and Park Avenue Baker Street served its purpose of being a nice clean place to stay. I was delighted with the condition of the room. There were some food options within walking distance, and we were close to the 'Tube' to get anywhere we needed. The only downside was that the room was small

Nice hotel is a great location
Very friendly and attentive staff, from checking in to breakfast service. Great location for central London as close to tube lines to get you around. A little maintenance required but didn't really impact the stay. It would have been nice to know that the hotel is split across 2 locations as my room so over the road in another property from reception and breakfast, etc.

Nice room very minimal basic service
Room was well decorated. Pillows and bedding good. Room Too hot with poor air circulation. Window opened directly onto 20+ Bin bags of rubbish. Which they moved up metal stairs in the night causing disturbed sleep. Terrible smell of rotten pork coming from the kitchen. No water only full sugar drinks. Breakfast food was empty. Every time you call reception they’re outside on their mobile not working.

A bit disappointing
Hotel room was in the basement with a window looking out at a dirty concrete wall very close by so no view at all. No warning of this on booking or option to pay a different amount to ensure room wasn't in the basement. Shower sprayed water everywhere and hotel not in as good a state as the photos would suggest. First night woken up by an alarm going off in the building in the middle of the night. Staff were really helpful though and location was very convenient. Overall wasn't a very good stay for couples and we were disappointed given the cost of the room. We would probably book somewhere else in the future.

Clean hotel on good location
Lovely hotel, I can’t fault the cleanliness, the location, the price and service. However, as a lone female traveller I would’ve preferred to stay in the main hotel, not in the unstaffed hotel across the road. I was also on the ground floor close to the main entrance which made me feel slightly vulnerable.

Unfortunately we got 2 basement rooms - views from rooms as you can imagine was dreadful , one looking out onto an aircon unit and the other looking out on dirty laundry . We had constant underground and toilet flush noises throughout the night from rooms above. Rooms were ok, clean with kettle and hairdryer. I wouldn’t book again purely because I wouldn’t want to risk being in the basement room again

Overall very poor.
Terrible check in process, they seem to have difficulty finding you on their system, and not just us, this seemed to be quite a few customers. Sheets looked washed but still had lots of dirty marks on them. Cobwebs hanging from smoke detector. Lots of mould around the windows. General cleanliness was poor. Still had the fitters pencil marks in the bathroom. Despite the great location, would not stay here again.

The small safe in the cupboard was not screwed into the wall and anybody could have walked off with it. We chose not to report it during our stay as we were there overnight only. We reported it at checkout. we were in room 301 we chose and got a twin single-bedded room, but one of the duvets was a single and the other one was a double folded in two in a single duvet cover

Disgusting
Messed up my reservation which took about 20 minutes to solve. They handled my phone in an unsanitary manner. When I finally checked in I had to switch rooms as it reeked of cigarette smoke and had several flies buzzing around. New room had a dodgy stain on the wall and there was a strange buzzing noise all night. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Do yourselves a favour and book into literally any other hotel - you’d probably have a more comfortable night sleeping in a shop doorway!
