Worst hotel I have ever stayed in
The man on reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful. When I arrived he looked up at me gormlessly and said I don't have your reservation. I showed him email confirmation as well as a receipt of payment. He just blankly said its not on my computer screen. I said do you want to check the confirmation number etc. He then miraculously found the booking. The room key would only last for about an hour so you'd constantly need to keep going back to reception for new one. In the room there was no toiletries, not even just a bar of soap. No water in the room and the tap water was not drinkable. On day 2 of my stay I came back at 11pm after a long day at work, just wanting to go to sleep. As I pulled in to the car park the rudest man pulled the gate forward and started screaming at me to use the other car park entrance. Which no one would have any idea there was a second entrance as it wasnt signposted and was slightly further up the road. The cleaners would knock on the door but walk into the room at the same time not waiting for your response. On top of all of that , the hotel had construction work going on , which they didn't advertise or tell any of their guests. So after working all night, i got back to my room for some sleep, only to have a huge drilling noise all day going on! If they had told us there was construction work going on we wouldn't have booked a room there. On top of that they were still charging £63 a night for a shody room with construction noise banging.

Trying hard
$50 cad taxi from airport each way.. the cost more than the hotel staff tried hard to help .. brand new to the hotel .. breakfast was terrible .. coffee cold This hotel is still 40 drive to Big Ben..

Very disappointed with state of property
Hotel totally run down, looks like it's been run on a shoestring. Breakfast was a complete joke unless you like hard boiled eggs cold and that's the best part. electrics look unsafe throughout the property. I stay at least one day away at many hotels, this one I will not be revisiting.

My stay
I'd driven about 160 miles, when I arrived. At reception, there was already a man there. The receptionist decided to check me in at the same time, as he'd already checked the man in and was waiting on something which didn't take long. After he'd left, I handed over my confirmation email but the receptionist had difficulty in finding my booking. He did eventually find it and then told me to fill in my car's registration number and to sign it, which I did. The receptionist then carried my suitcase to my room. As my car was parked on the main road, I had to drive to the traffic lights, turn the car round and drive back up to the other traffic lights. I wasn't allowed to turn the car round, so I went right. I turned the car round, outside a school, and went back and went left and drove into their car park. I then found the TV switcher had only one battery in it. So, I took to reception and he gave me four different ones to try. He told me, if I had any more problems I had to phone him. Later, I found my bathroom had no toilet paper. This was quickly resolved, after I phoned him. When I left, after checking out, I found someone had moved my right hand wing mirror for no reason.

Awful hotel!!!! 4 showers between 2 rooms all broken or leaking. Breakfast awful.... Do not stay here eapecially if you have a family. Kettle broken and room in general poor conditon. Told on check in that we needed ID, this was not mentioned on booking, as rooms were being trashed. Would never go back.

Charming ensuite double room, with internet and TV facilities. Room was really comfortable, and - despite proximity to the airport - was really quiet. Excellent staff and good breakfast.

Nightmare
This place is disgusting I had no hot water no central heating The place is dirty and the staff at reception very rude and they just don’t care where are young boys doing a man’s job I was promised a refund as I couldn’t stay in the place it was that bad and they kept lying to me about refunding me in the end I had to go back to hotels.com in order to get my refund do you not stay in this place avoid like the plague

I'll be back...
I have stayed many times at this hotel. It has recently changed owners and management. I cannot fault the friendliness of the staff and they cannot do enough to make your stay there be a pleasant experience. My bags were carried from the car straight to my room by Sam the manager. Heaters were supplied in the room as the temperature was quite cold. I know some previous comments from customers have said that the rooms are due an upgrade but I would like to say that I would rather have friendly accommodating staff than a brand spanking new room. It was clean it was tidy and suited my needs. I ate in the Terminal 6 bar restaurant and I was amazed at the value and even more with the quality and taste of the food. Please see image attached to this review, it was so good. The value for money is exceptional and I for one will definitely be staying there when I can.

Pictures are deceiving. Hotel is old and in serious need of an upgrade. Pitty we did not read the reviews. Look warm water to shower in. Bed linen was clean. Pub was open till late and wanted just a small snack but non of the comfort food was abailable so we had to order a big meal... If the hotel wants to be a stand out destination and charge what they charge they need to up their game and they have such a beautiful building... Disappointed!!

Disappointing
Staff were really helpful when one of our rooms needed changing (the tele fell of the wall narrowly missing my son-in-law.). However the showers In both rooms were unusable as the water temperature was scalding and unable to adjust. Sink had no plug. No low lights in the rooms for bedtime reading.

Will return!!
For the price i real could not complain. The rooms opposite reception are the ones to get. Very quiet in the room. Slep like a rock every night. Hot water in shower. Happily stay again

Service worthy of a 5*****
Sure, this hotel hasn't been finished to a high standard and needs some TLC here and there, however what it lacks in detail the staff make up for with a can-do attitude. I received 5***** service from all the guys at the front desk who went above and beyond to help me out. what was great about this hotel was how quiet it was, and no other guests banging doors either, so I slept really well. I particularly liked the inner door which created an extra buffer.

Nice People safe stay Hotel ok
Stay was in preparation for a Monday Meeting, staff were fine and no issues with reservation accommodation was within my expectation although a little aged and convenient to my location and attached restaurant was very nice only comments would be to perhaps have a little more effort towards Breakfast and presentation but overall no issues and I would stay again all considered
