It’s was conveniently located in Stratford near the Stratford centre and Westfield Stratford city. However the hotel lost a package that was delivered and no one knows what happened

Good for fanilies
Good for families. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable but everything else was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised considering the price.

Marlin Stratford ottima location !
Sono già stato diverse volte nei Marlin Apartments , e personalmente preferisco quello di Stratford, per la posizione ed il prezzo, il personale molto gentile, in particolare quest ultima volta Laura, che mi ha aiutato moltissimo a risolvere un problema che ho avuto !
Un grosso Grazie ed a rivederci presto !

Booked these apartments for a business trip for a few days, was a little put off at first as was asked to pay £200 security deposit on a call the night before and told if I didn’t pay it I would be turned away at the door when I arrived.
However after paying this and arriving everything was fantastic the building is nice and clean and the apartments are very clean and nice.

Leiligheten var flott, var kort vei til stratford senter, westfield senter. Svært god kommunikasjon muligheter til fly plass og til sentrale London. Leiligheten vi fikk lå vendt mot togstasjonen og skapte problemer pga lydnivå. Når vinduet var igjen var støynivået akseptabelt, men siden leiligheten manglet air contition anlegg ble varmen og luft kvalitet et problem. Tog og t-bane går store deler av natten. Et problem marlin appartments absolutt burde se nærmere på. Hadde absolutt valgt å komme tilbake hvis dette var på plass.

When we arrived the reception manager told us that on his confirmation we hadn’t paid for a sofa bed, but we had and we showed him our confirmation email which clearly stated we had paid. He went on to tell us that adding a sofa bed would cost us £45 extra as housekeeping needed to make the bed up which was ridiculous. When we were eventually placed in a room the manager told us that housekeeping would be up shortly to make the bed. Instead the manager came back to tell us we needed to move to another room where the sofa bed was already made. But he told us to take our time as he knew we’d started unpacking etc. 5 minutes after the manager left housekeeping knocked to ask how long we were going to be as they needed to clean the room. They then knocked again 15 minutes later to ask us again and then knocked AGAIN for the third time to ask us despite the manager telling us to take as long as we needed. The service was ridiculous and a shame since the last time I’d stayed there the service was lovely. I defiantly won’t be staying again.

I should have read the reviews for this property before I booked it. Our room was right next to the railway lines. No cleaning services for the seven days we were there. Heatwave, no air conditioning. Had to leave the door open at night. Kept guard on the couch for any rats or mice who may wander in.

Avoid
Pictures are deceiving. Got bed bug bites from the mattress, the hallways stink of curry and the lift stinks of weed. Noisy trains on one side of the building and noisy neighbours who play loud music in their cars at 2300 on the other side of the building. Also the car park is not owned by the apartment buildings (although this is not obvious) its basically a ransom strip so beware if you arrive in the dark or you’ll receive a speculative invoice from a parking company. This place is too unpleasant and too much hassle for the business traveller.

The property is next to very busy train lines which makes sleeping near impossible. Parking at the property is at an additional charge of £20 which was not clearly stated on the hotel listing. The property should make all additional costs clear from the onset, hidden fees are a big put off.

The beds were not set up as twins as requested (and for which we paid extra); the 'concierge' was usually away from his desk and did not answer the phone; when changing the sheets - which I had to do because I had to make up our beds myself - I saw the mattresses and they were absolutely FILTHY....stained and dirty. YUCK.

The hotel is very close to the railway line, we got a room right in front of the tracks. Because of the noise, they put a double window, so it was impossible to open the porch window for ventilation. Please note that there are no air conditioners in the apartments when we asked for another room with air conditioner and it turns out that there is an additional cost for the night 47 pounds.
In addition, I arrived with my son in the apartment. I mentioned this at the time of the reservation and saw that there was a sofa opening to the bed so I thought that he was sleeping in the sofa, also preparing the sofa for sleeping (bedding and a blanket). Peak chutzpah to separate the bed also on this wanted money also 47 pounds per night.
The staff was very nice and very much wanted to help probably this is the policy of the place.

The room was too hot to have the windows shut but the train noise kept us awake all night. When we tried to shut the window in the early hours when time trains were less frequent the window catch wouldn't shut properly.
Stained sofa bed mattress and ripped sheet.
Reception not manned check in or check out.
Lots of rooms overlooked the bedroom.

Ottimo appartamento
Sono diverse volte che soggiorno in questi appartament,
sono molto spaziosi e con mollte comodità,
fra cui lavastoviglie e lavatrice,
Così posso tornare a casa con quasi tutta la biancheria pulita !
A qualche centinaio di metri ci sono tre linee di Tube,
Central, Jubelee e DLR , in poco tempo si può arrivare a
S.Paul , a Westminster , anche Greenwich con la DLR,
E tanti negozii vicini , fra cui un centro commerciale enorme ...

THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING, was extremely hot and the property only gives you one fan, I asked for another fan and that was a problem.
I asked the manager to please allow me to change the reservation because it does not clearly state there is no air conditioning in the apartment building, the manager stated that they have another property with air conditioning and I could be re booked for another fee of $1200 if I wanted to stay there instead.
The apartment is only cleaned every 7 days so if your not staying longer than that you have to clean everything yourself and empty your own trash.
The good thing is that the apartment looks like the pictures and its in a good location near train station and market

Short Stay in London
One week stay to visit family. Generally service ok. There wasn't anything the team did that was above and beyond normal. The is a serviced apartment so the idea is that you have a home feel and you take care of things yourself. I think the apartment should have a cleaning at least more than once a week. The bedroom was very hot as the building does not have an AC system but other than that generally it was a decent stay and I would recommend Marlin Stratford for a short trip.
