Bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Pillows, mattress, duvet and bedding were all perfect. Staff were also very friendly and efficient. Shared bathroom was spotless clean and not busy. This is not meant to be 5 star luxury but it is very comfortable, affordable and pleasant. And convenient location for gigs at Finsbury Park & Ally Pally.

Recommended - basic but functional
Staff friendly and helpful. Room basic but had everything we needed. Furniture old and windows were mostly bolted shut (probably for security as downstairs room).

It's a friendly, convenient inner city hotel, inexpensive with a great outside and inside restaurant. Staff are incomparably nice. It is very inexpensive for London and very transport friendly with the Piccadilly line and buses right outside the door, minicabs across the street. I don't like the shared bathroom arrangements and always try to get one of the few ensuite rooms. There is nowhere to put your stuff while using the shared bathrooms.

Got my camera stolen!!! Great location, lots of food choices, close to the tube. The bunk beds are nice and spaced out, however they didn't have any locker keys available as they had their own lockets, so there are lots of thieves here apparently. I've stayed here for a week and a half and got my Sony A7ii camera with 50mm lens stolen. Happened when I least expected it...

Good basic accommodation
Good basic accommodation in a part of London many visitors don't see. Don't expect it to be up to the level of Holiday Inn, you arent paying as much. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and thecstaff friendly and helpful. The Wood Green tube station is just a short walk away. Its on the Piccadilly line so access to central London, Paddington Station, and Heathrow Airport are all easy although not super close. Recommended if you are traveling on a budget or just like to get away from hotel chains that are the same wherever in the world you are.

Felt like I was sleeping on the M6 hard shoulder
Nice looking building, nice staff, nice bar on the ground floor. It is only once you go to the hotel accommodation that is really goes down hill. I didn't mind the "shabby chic" angle they were intentionally or unintentionally going for. The linen was clean but the beds are very uncomfortable. And whilst there is no toilet in the rooms and you have to walk quite far through the communal area for a pee or a shower this was not the worst part. The worst is the noise. I'm not sure which was worse, the shouting and roaring of the punters from the nearby pubs, the idling buses that sit chugging away right outside your window at the bus stop or the booming music from the cars waiting on red lights at the junction beside the window. You may think this is an exaggeration but I woke up at one point around 4am and thought I was sleep in the middle of a busy motorway. The windows are very old and I am sure they are possibly too expensive to replace but they don't shut properly and provide zero sound insulation which isn't ideal when you front onto a very very busy road.

Felt a little unsafe as the door wouldnt shut fully. Also the receptionist would come in and turn the lights on and then leave and leave the lights on which was annoying and unnecessary.

Staff was great and really helpful. However the rooms weren’t great at all. The first room I was in the window wouldn’t shut. In the second room there was no furniture. I also think Hotels.com should have done a better job advertising that the rooms had no en suite.

When we got there we were told it was a shared bathroom which we did not know because that information is hard to find when booking so we upgraded - £46 a night for a bathroom also no TV in the room I guess these days you don’t think you have to check things like that when booking - we had a kettle with one teabag and no milk Other than that it was fine, comfortable, clean and we both slept really well what more do you want Oh yeh a telly a toilet and milk 😜

Shoes was stolen first time in my life !
first time experiencing my shoes was stolen in my hostel room - this was first time happened in my entire life .!!! first time lost a pair of old Camper global limited edition shoes — as a global traveler— was completely shocked - and felt so upset few days —wasn’t able have mood to move on my schedule...Also some misunderstanding unfriendly hospitality from inside staff — rest of staffs are kind -And the shower water requires the houseguest to keep constantly push Hard So the water shower will not stop itself with its shortest restricted timing — actually it’s meaningless to restrict the shower water timing — because it takes longer for houseguest to take a shower time and Use longer water —- the shower head should be replaced ...but the compartment bed is comfortable and it’s more quieter and suits for a busy LONDON !

Quiet and spacious!
Opposite Wood Green tube station which is a little further from the city and in zone 3 but is on the Piccadilly line which is a convenient and frequently running line. Also, it is in North-East London which is a cool area itself to explore on the overground. It was comfortable and spacious but perhaps not fully-equipped as a hostel yet as there was no guest kitchen, only a fridge and a microwave with no cutlery or crockery. However, this is a very quiet and spacious hostel. The personal space you get is unlike any other hostel I have stayed at before. I would recommend this hostel to travellers that are travelling for work or have other things to do in London rather than first time tourists because it is a little further from central and not necessarily party/social. The hotel hosts art/DJ events at times but I didn't catch any this stay. It is a hostel where people tend to keep to themselves which can be great too if you're looking for more privacy. Overall, very cool decor and brilliant idea for accomodation but a little more kitchen space and utensils could be offered for dormitory guests.

This is one of the most comfortable and “homey” properties I have ever stayed in. I had the room with en-suite and the place was perfectly minimalist; in other words there was exactly what I needed without the room being cluttered. I also thought the place had cool style and was clean!

I enjoyed my week in London. Wood Green is a very diverse neighborhood with many types of places to eat and drink and explore. Green Rooms is literally across the street from the Wood Green underground station, from there I went all over the city and saw many wonderful things. I had the misfortune of being there when London had it's highest recorded temperature ever (101F) and Green Rooms has no air conditioning. Two of the nights there were miserable. I asked at the front desk if they had fans for the rooms and they did not. I do not blame the hotel for the weather but they should take measures to make guests comfortable. I knew my room had a shared bathroom, what I didn't know is I had to go up or down a 1/2 flight of stairs to get to the bathroom. For someone with old guy prostate getting up in the night to go was unpleasant. I would not stay there again in that type of room. I understand they have 4 rooms with a private bathroom but they were taken when I booked. I would also not stay there again in the time of year when not having air conditioning could be an issue. I do plan to go back to London though, it is an amazing place with so much to see and do. I ate 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners at the hotel and would recommend their restaurant/bar.
