This hotel is tucked away on a relatively quiet street in the midst of a very large, bustling city. The hotel is very close to the British Museum, a wide range of moderate and inexpensive restaurants, and at least two underground stations. The room was quiet and clean. The request for 1 twin bed resulted in a double bed with a firm mattress and lots of pillows. The room had a kitchenette (microwave oven, small fridge, small sink, electric water kettle) supplied with tea and coffee packets and Bisoff cookies -- very welcome after a long day on our feet. The bathroom was narrow but well supplied, clean and bright. One potential downside is using the shower or tub requires carefully stepping over the tub's very high side; with polished floor tiles and no wall mounted grab bars, this might be a risk for some. Meals are served next door at one of the "sister" hotels, which requires stepping outside. The hotel has an elevator. Check in was slow due to a computer issue and a staff trainee, however that was not indicative of the rest of the stay. I would stay here again.
