Excellent location,Clean, helpful staff BUT beds uncomfortable, heating impossible to regulate without opening window, no razor socket in bathroom, breakfast poor (awful coffee, roll and croissant with jam). disappointed for this price point

We got rooms on the basement floor with fixed window that cannot be opened.it causes the Room to have bad smells. There is no curtain so sun enters the Room very early in the morning. There is a wooden floor up so you can hear every step ftom upper room and it is very annoying.

The hotel was in a good location and very clean. The staff was very nice and quick to check in. The only complaint is that the wifi did not work in my room.

Gower House was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. The single room was cozy, perhaps too cozy given the ten by seven foot room. leaving little space to keep luggage, and no closet or drawer space to put anything away. The location is great, very close to transportation. My room was in the back which was very quiet.

An old property that could do with a bit of TLC. The basement room we were allocated is the smallest Hotel bedroom I've ever stayed in & quite claustrophobic luckily we only booked for 2 nights as the traffic noise is constant making it impossible to sleep. The Airport shuttle they profess to operate is a £70 Taxi ride at the Customers expense.

This small hotel is in a great location on Gower St. It is close to the British Museum and surrounded by Colleges and medical facilities. It is a safe area. The room was small, which was to be expected. The manager on duty was really pleasant. I would recommend this hotel

The property was near to our theatres the staff very very friendly.snacks and drinks in room to purchase were of good choice and price.Continental breakfast was good choice as well very well priced hotel and worth the visit.

Weekend stay for business course
Stayed from Friday night 22nd February to Monday 26th. I needed an affordable single room to attend a weekend course near central London. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Euston Station with Goodge St. underground about five minutes away and a bus stop with a very frequent service across the road. British Museum very close. Late arrival wasn't a problem as there is 24 hrs check-in. The room was at the back of the hotel was small and basic but clean with a TV, tea/coffee facilities and free wifi. Sheets and blankets, not a duvet. The ensuite was small but the shower worked well and towels were changed every day. Slept well but not the quietest of stays - ambulances and some noise from other rooms. Continental breakfast from 7:30 with cereals, tinned fruit, orange juice, rolls, croissants and very good coffee. No evening meals but plenty of restaurants in nearby Tottenham Court Road and its side streets. Area felt very safe to walk around. Friendly staff and a bonus was that I could leave my luggage after checkout and collect it in the evening.

It was perfect for my stay. Quiet, comfortable and clean. What really made it great was the very friendly staff. They were a delight. Offered me a free upgrade which was nice. I'll stay again.

Could be better but reasonable for London
Gower Street is very busy and it would be better to have a room not on the street. The bed was tired and not over comfortable.

So friendly and accommodating. No surprises, that is to say everything was as advertised. It is modest it is beautifully located and safe and secure for families and individuals. Highly recommended.

The room smelled like feces, and upon inspection, we found that the toilet had not been flushed in God knows how long. It took more than half of the night to get the smell out of the room, and they would not let us move rooms, so we had to deal with the stench. The front desk man was very nice, but the overall experience was awful.

A really nice hotel. Old-fashioned but in a nice way. Centrally located very close to Goodge Street tube. The hotel is pleasantly decorated, the room was very nice and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental-style and just right. Will definitely stay there again and can happily recommend to others.

The room was quite nice but a bit on the small side, as was the bathroom. No closet so not a lot of room for hanging clothes. No elevator. The staff was very helpful. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty.

1人旅でしたので、シングルの部屋に泊まりました。こじんまりしていて清潔感があり窓の外にはレンガの建物と中庭が見えました。 中庭と言っても椅子とテーブルがいくつか置いてあるだけですが、サマータイムのロンドンは外の空気がキモチ良いのでコーヒーを飲みながら過ごすのもオススメです。 わたしは英語が話せませんが スタッフの方たちは笑顔で挨拶してくれますし 出かける時なども特に声をかける必要もないので とても気楽でした。 ホテルから徒歩10分圏内に地下鉄の駅も何駅かありとても便利ですし、スーパーも大英博物館も徒歩で行けます。 古い建物で高級ではないですが ロンドンのアパートに住んでいるような キモチになれます。

DON'T CHOSE IT IF YOU'RE PLANNING A BUSSINESS TRIP. They didn't give me any kind of receipt, bill or invoice during the check out, and when I told them that I need it in order to get a reimbursement from my company, they told me that they would send it to me via e-mail... I'm still waiting and I really need it, but they don't even answer to my mails!! In addition the water in the shower was extremely hot and I couldn't regulate it. I was kind of happy when I arrived because it is a nice place and people in the reception is usually very kind, but it is the first time that a Hotel does not want to give me an invoice and I'll probably have to pay myself! Thi is not serious and I'm not planning to use expedia anymore...

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und hat gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist einfach, aber alles ist sauber und soweit ok. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Super pour une semaine en famille
Hôtel très agréable à 20 minutes à pied de la gare St Pancras et de Covent Garden de l'autre côté. Chambre propre et confortable, conforme aux photos avec un bon wifi. Accueil très agréable et petit-déjeuner compris dans le service. Hotel sur une route avec du passage donc avantage : proche de tout mais inconvénient : peut être un peu bruyant (plus calme la nuit).
