Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing made feel you are at home. The food was delicious. The beach has beautiful soft sand. The water was warm and the color was stunning. Snorkeling was easy, right off the shore. You are within steps of your bungalow and a pool. The grounds and rooms were spotless and in great condition. Checking in and out was easy. Thanks to the Staff for making our stay so wonderful.

I loved my stay at Chillout! The bungalow was amazing - clean, quiet, air conditioning worked amazing, bathroom was clean (water pressure a bit low). The location was ideal right in the beach and within close proximity to the main little town with amazing restaurants. The staff at Chillout make it the best experience! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Fabulous stay again

This is my third visit to Chill Out Bungalows. Gili Air has grown since 2011 and rebuilt nicely since the earthquake in 2018. You go the Chill Out for the fantastic staff, the excellent food and the ability to snorkel right off their beach with the fish and the turtles.

Fantastic stay on the sunrise side of the island

I had a super comfortable and relaxing stay here, they let me check in a couple of hours early which I really appreciated. The room, terrace and outdoor bathroom are fantastic, nicely decorated, well designed and really comfortable. The staff were all very nice and breakfast was very tasty. The location is really good, 10/15 minute walk from the port/main strip. It's on the sunrise side of the island which I liked because it's got an amazing view of the Rinjani mountains on Lombok. There's good snorkeling just off the coast here, you can rent masks etc at the shops beside Chillout bungalows. There were always plenty of sun loungers available but note that they are open to punters of the restaurant and not specifically only for those who stay at the Bungalows.

Paradise!

Amazing spot on Gili Air! Snorkelling right out the front and swam with 2 x massive turtles on my first day. We went for a private snorkelling trip which was also great, but never swam with turtles anywhere near as big as the ones out the front of Chillout Bungalows - plethora of wildly colouful fish everywhere out there as well (make sure you see BamBam next door to hire your mask/snorkel/flippers - the guy is a legend and looked out for us and helped however he could whenever we saw him!). Super comfy beds, good air conditioning, and all the staff were amazing, ready to go out of their way to help with anything and so lovely. Restaurant out front was awesome - right on the beach. Rock up and choose your freshly caught seafood from the iced trays and they cook it up on hot coals for you right there. We also had our included breakfast there every morning, which was generous and delicious also! Loved Gili Air and Chillout Bungalows SO MUCH - hope we get to comeback sometime soon.

The staff were outstanding in every area — from the restaurant and office to the cleaning team — all friendly, helpful, and genuinely personable. The place is spotless, has great energy, and the food is absolutely delicious. You really feel welcome here. Property location is amazing for sunrise, swimming and snorkelling. The entire island is a 5 km walk around. The staff are fantastic and helpful and the food at Chill Out restaurant is amazing-fresh with many choices and huge portions! The bungalows have an open air bathroom which is spectacular! We loved it here.

Overpriced

Although the breakfast was very good and the bungalows are comfortable and well equipped, they are located at the back of the restaurant. There is no view and no pool and therefore in my view they are charging too much. Better options are available.

Sehr schöne Bungalows,ruhige Anlage mit kleinem Pool,direkt am Strand mit eigenen Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, tolles Hausriff zum Schnorcheln, leckeres und reichliches a la carte Frühstück, leckeres und Preiswertes Essen im Restaurant.Das Personal ist immer super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine Massage im zugehörigen Spa (10 Min.Fussweg) ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren 5 Tage dort und kommen sehr gerne wieder !

Hade fått Gilla Air och Chill Out Bungalows rek till mig av vänner som återvänder till detta ställe år efter år. Hade höga förväntningar och de infriades! Mycket fina och fräscha bungalows, personlig, trevlig och väldigt hjälpsamt och fint bemötande från all personal oavsett om de jobbade i reception, restaurang eller städ - kände mig så välkommen och uppskattad som gäst - hit återvänder jag väldigt gärna!

Underbart! Fantastisk service. Rent och enkelt. Läget är det bästa precis på stranden där man kan simma med havssköldpaddor utanför. Gratis solstolar som plockas bort på kvällen och ersätts med bord o stolar så man kan sitta och äta middag direkt på stranden. Maten är fantastisk, oavsett vad man beställer på menyn. Alla är otroligt trevliga och hjälpsamma!

Séjour très agréable !

Séjour de 3 nuits sur l’île. Hôtel avec des bungalows très mignons et à 10 petites minutes à pieds du port ! La douche à l’extérieur était bien agréable. Très appréciable de bénéficier des transats en bord de mer et de serviettes de plages en tant que clients de l’hôtel. Très beau spot de snorking juste devant (gentiment conseillé par l’hôtel) ! Petit déjeuner très basique et pas incroyable mais la vue est très belle et le personnel très gentil.

Sejour exceptionnel

Séjour exceptionnel. Sur 7 hôtels fait pendant notre sejour, ce fut le meilleur. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse exceptionnel et le restaurant est excellent. Le cadre est splendide, face à la mer, devant un spot de snorkeling. La chambre est tres spacieuse, propre et dispose d'un distributeur d'eau gratuit. Si je reviens aux iles Gili, je reviendrai ici c'est certain.
