"My recent stay at Comfort Suites University Research Park in Charlotte was overall mediocre—neither terrible nor particularly impressive. Upon arrival, the room initially seemed fine, but a few issues quickly stood out. The refrigerator had clearly not been cleaned out prior to my check-in, and there was leftover pizza inside that had a noticeable smell. That was definitely off-putting and made the room feel less well-maintained than expected. Another disappointment was the pool, which is listed as one of the amenities. Unfortunately, it was out of order during my stay. I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but it would have been helpful to know in advance since that was something I was looking forward to using. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. While it wasn’t unusable, it didn’t meet the standard I would expect for a comfortable hotel stay. That said, the stay wasn’t all bad. The bed was comfortable, and the overall experience was okay. The staff didn’t cause any issues, and the hotel itself was relatively quiet. In the end, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but it also wasn’t the best. With better attention to cleanliness and communication about amenities, it could be a much better experience."

"King bed was super comfortable, room was clean and smelled good. Buffet breakfast was very good. Overall, a very nice hotel with smiling, helpful ladies at the front desk."

"This might actually be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at aside from a couple of five stars. But the employees were awesome! The bed was fantastic! They served a light dinner / snacks! If I am ever in an area with another Drury Inn, if they are all like this I will be a customer for life!"

"Everything was amazing"

"Checking in to the hotel I was hit with a fee of $60 for what they finally said was for incidentals but refused to use my credit card I had on file or take my debit card. They insisted that they only wanted cash. Check out is 11AM at 9:35am, someone kept opening my room door but luckily I had the security lock inside on. I went to the front desk who said it was housekeeping and no explanation why housekeeping kept opening my room door. The staff was very unfriendly and not polite. In order to get my $60 cash back I had to check out so they could inspect the room, then after that inspection and it pleased them my $60 was returned. Would i stay here again or recommend my family and friends, NO. That was my one(1) and done. The bathroom had a big hole behind the door which made me uncomfortable so I stuffed it with toilet paper, the ceiling paint was peeling off. The white sheets were not even white. I chose this hotel instead of one by the airport because it was close to my family. NEVER AGAIN"
