"The Rocpool is a great place to stay in Inverness. It’s walkable into town, with a little uphill climb. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable. The A/C was a huge plus since it was unusually warm during our stay. We had to leave before breakfast one morning for a day trip, and the hotel thoughtfully packed pastries, fruit, and sandwiches for us to take along, which we really appreciated. "Hotel is not the best . In fact for similar price you can find much better hotels . I asked for half an hour late check out but receptionist adamant I have to check out at 11 o’clock. The room service simply covered the sheets and no more . No new towels . Noise is terrible , probably is the nature of the hotel . In short I do not recommend this hotel"

"We were not told about brining our own towels until we were already in Scotland. The door was hard to lock and there was no internet. The water in the shower pressure came and went."

"The rooms were very basic but clean, although the hotel could definitely use a good renovation and some updating. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location was excellent, with shops, restaurants, and public transportation all right at your doorstep, making it very convenient for exploring the area. One thing to note is that rooms facing the main street can be quite noisy at night due to the busy bar located across the street."

"Kings Mills is one of the finest hotels we've stayed in, in Europe and the U.S. From the beautifully manicured gardens to the lovely decorated king suite, the great bar, sitting room, and dining room, it is exquisitely maintained and managed by a superb staff. The concierge and reception staff were very helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We loved the gardens and enjoyed having breakfast and tea after a long day out. We would definitely recommend it to friends and plan on coming back...
