"What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...

"Stayed in the apartment which had plenty of space. Very comfortable for two and a great idea if staying 3 or more days. Note the bathroom is downstairs from bedroom. Short walk to town that had some elevation but was fine for two 60+ with weak knees. Limited parking but we had a pass for the street that perhaps available only for apartment users."
