"The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay."

"It was really good but check in is terrible they dont check in till dead on 3 which means big ques so the guest miss half their nite they need 2 address that if they staggered as they came in booked them in put the keys aside ready then hand them out "

"Julie and I had a great stay at the hotel. Unfortunately we had to take Alfie, Julie’s scruffy wee dog at the last minute. I spoke to someone at the hotel and they kindly moved us to their sister hotel next door that allows wee hairy animals. We certainly would return again. I might even consider inviting Alfie as he enjoyed his stay too 😊. "

"Property was nice. Was able to have two rooms next to each other as my family doesn’t fit into 1 in UK. Breakfast had lots of options and was enjoyable. Within walking distance of Main Street with shops and restaurants. "

"We stayed here as the first night of our holiday to the highlands. After a long day on the road we were greeted by Steve and shown to our room on the top floor. We had nice view of the garden, where we could see both bird and rabbit. If you're lucky you might see some local deer. The room was spacious, well lit, and had a very bathroom with a bathtub. "Old school stately charm, the staff make an effort to provide a luxurious experience in this historically grand hotel. Great to have a bathtub, bathrooms have been renovated. "We enjoyed our stay at The Crossing. The breakfast was very good. The one thing I was surprised about was that our breakfast was not included with our room fee. We stayed at so many different places that I guess I just didn't check to see. But, we were a bit taken aback when after eating breakfast we were asked to settle the bill for it."

"Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...
