The hotel is pet friendly but dogs were always under careful control & supervision of their owners. The hotel clearly welcomes families and had many non resident diners which indicated a good local reputation too. Happy to recommend to friends & family."

"The rooms are clean and comfortable. I like the caramel wafer in the rooms as a wee Scottish classic. Staff are always great people, very personable and human giving a lovely feeling to the place. The bar and the fire have a cosy and warm atmosphere, with great real ales on tap. Breakfast has the classics, and sets you up for the day well."
