"Really nice place, great view. Massive hill to climb. No Ubers, and near impossible to get a taxi. We couldn’t get one until day 3. Unless you rent a car don’t book this place. Getting to and from town and the ferry with luggage is a nightmare without a car. Walking on your own is ok, but takes time and you need to be in shape. "

"Excellent Como location! 4 minute walk from the Cadenaba Pier to the short ferries to Bellagio and Varenna (but buy a day pass so you are not stuck in ticket lines on the other side). Also some nice lakeside restaurants nearby. Very clean and open layout with beautiful views of the lake and Bellagio. Clothes Washer machine was very helpful mid-trip. Top Livo Hotel Reviews

Grand Hotel Menaggio

Grand Hotel Menaggio

8/10 Good
"We stayed at Grand Hotel Menaggio for two nights and had a very good experience. This genuinely felt like a four-star hotel. The rooms were comfortable, modern, and well-kept, and breakfast had plenty of options each morning. The service throughout our stay was also very good. The location is one of the biggest advantages. You’re right in the centre of Menaggio and very close to the ferry, which makes it easy to explore the other towns around Lake Como without needing a car. For the level of service, location, and overall quality, we also felt the hotel was fairly priced. A great option if you’re staying in Menaggio and want something comfortable, convenient, and well located for exploring Lake Como."
