This hotel is very far away from Liverpool centres. You need a car. It’s a very tired looking hotel Only landed in this hotel because I booked the wrong one and could not get a refund or change my booking.

Dont stay here if you want to sleep.
I only stay in hotels when I'm working, but I stay in alot of hotels, this was definately up there in my worst stays. When I stay in a hotel, I expect to be able to have a decent night sleep and feel comfortable and safe. However, I checked in to this hotel, went up to my room on the top floor and discovered a 30th birthday banner across the door adjacent to my room. I aired my concerns to the staff, as I was to be up at 6am, who told me there was a party on that night, so anywhere they moved me could be just as noisy. When I went to the lobby, there where several firemen in there, which raised my concerns. A few hours later, I met two police officers on my floor, giving me even more cause for concern. Seeing two emergency services in one night is not great for your guests. Especially after a very large fire earlier that day in Liverpool. The noise from the party was excruciatingly loud, despite being 3 floors above it, which I find extremely inconsiderate to other guests in the hotel. When the party finished, the attendees where just as loud with zero consideration for any one else staying here. The lady on the desk in the morning was really nice about it and understood my frustrations, she couldn't apologise enough, and tried to be as helpful as she could, but that's roughly £100 to not sleep. Unfortunately had a similar experience in the village hotel at Blackpool, which is the only other time I've used this particular chain.

The people on reception are superb. I paid over £30 for an overcooked tough Sirloin steak. The food is the hotels weakness

Reasonable for price, huge pool but very busy
We used this hotel for a night away and booked for the spa/ pool facilities. The room was fine although could do with a little update. The hotel and staff felt friendly. It was a little disappointing to get up Sunday to go for a relaxing swim and spa to see the pool jam packed with members of the public and children, it looked like a pool party so we gave it a miss. The pool and facilities were a great size too. It would seem more beneficial for the pool to be open to the public after guests had checked out, in our view. Fairly central to town centre (£20 each way in an uber). Would stay again if we had our children but not as a couple’s relaxing night away.
