The reason for my average review was the lack of quality sleep. Mainly due the noises from outside of hotel ( understand this can't be controlled by the hotel) and the temperature within the room. The heat woke me up several times because it was just too hot and I couldn't see a way of controlling it within the room.
Another reason for the mark down on review was the lighting. Although I appreciate ambiance, I'd also like to see what I'm doing. not very friendly for women who want to put makeup on, as it's difficult to see. And why do hotels not think about things like having an electrical outlet near a mirror. Ended up resorting to take the mirror off the wall in order for the wife to "see" when straightening her hair.
Over the years been to a number of hotels, but this was a little bit different. Loved it! With it's black interior, music posters, marshall amp fridges nice touch. We were greeted with efficiency and friendliness that made us feel very welcome. The room was nice and cool, bed was comfortable giving way for a cracking sleep. Will come again.
Fantastic hotel tucked away from the all the city centre noise, room are lovely very well decorated with music icon themes.
Staff are nice and friendly and always willing to help.
