Best b&b we stayed at

Simon and sue made our stay a fantastic experience. They were so helpful and friendly. You could not ask more. They recommended places to visit, told us about the area. We would highly recommend staying here, we will certainly be going back there when we go again to Liverpool

Simply the best

This was the best accommodation we have found. Susan and Simon are perfect hosts. Simply wonderful experience, literally everything was as good as it could be and far better than most hotels.The kindness we have been shown by both of them was quite humbling. We wish them well

Great find in Birkenhead

Really warm welcome from Simon & Sue, we were then shown to our room which was truly lovely with en-suite bathroom. Next door was a very nice sitting room for us with all amenities including home made cakes. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. We will be back.

Everything was fine at this very recommendable B&B. Sue and Simon are very friendly and helpful hosts and we felt like a part of the family there. Bus stop is just a few meters away so that you can go either to Liverpool or to the Coast Line at West Kirby within approx. 20 minutes. Rooms are spacious and clean, we really enjoyed the stay there and would come again when next time in this area.

Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. We thank Simon and Sue for a wonderful stay. Pam and I can not recommend 2 The Rocklands highly enough. 10 out of 5 stars.

Fantastic find in the Wirral.

A great B & B. Simon and Sue are fantastic hosts. The rooms are exceptional. Far exceeded our expectations. The breakfast is cooked to order and if needed there is a bus within meters to west Kirby and Liverpool. everything just perfect. Handy for quite a few eating places. It will be our new home away from home. .

Liverpool weekend

Simon and Sue made us feel very welcome and were more than happy to share their knowledge of the area. The property was beautiful and they have clearly gone the extra mile with all the finishing touches. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, as was the chocolate treats in the room. Felt like being at home

Really great hospitality whilst staying at Therocklands. A spacious room, comfortable bed, good shower, a range of teas/coffees and fresh milk left in the in-room fridge. The breakfast was really delicious too. I would stay again in the future.

Small but pleasant guest house slightly out of town but right by bus stop into Liverpool. Breakfast is really nice, good quality and plenty of choice. Friendly, helpful owners. Free parking on site.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding at Leasowe Castle. It's a superb b&b, with excellent facilities and incredible hosts. Our room was spacious with a lovely en suite. Great breakfast in the morning too. I was very cynical about the excellent reviews but it's all true! Would 100% recommend.

We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were lovely very friendly and accommodating. There home was lovely and the service was impeckable. They were helpful when travelling into liverpool which was only 15 mins drive away £16 in taxi. Dropped us at the ferry terminal couldnt have asked for more.

the owners could not have been more kind, considerate & helpful. They were extremely well organised , the whole place was beautiful & the food was lovely. It should be noted that they do not provide bacon at breakfast & only have vegetarian sausages, but the available menu completely makes up for it. We did not miss it at all. My smoked salmon & scrambled eggs were luxurious! We shall definitely be returning!

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Warm, friendly and very welcoming hosts. Superb bedroom and bathroom, with fridge and the use of bathrobes and slippers. Great location for getting the bus to Birkenhead town and Liverpool.

Beautiful house in a nice location. The room was very clean tidy and decor was modern. Only thing that wasn't that great was the pressure in the shower but that's just nit picking. Simon the owner was really nice and friendly and even gave us a lift down to the ferry. Would definitely go back and stay again.
