"We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. "It’s an older hotel, the other side of the bridge from Edinburgh so cheaper by miles. It’s decent with plenty of parking. Bar is open 24 hours in the foyer. Breakfast was decent hot and cold buffet style. Would stay again."

"Nice hotel with a great location near Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline Abbey, the park and other businesses. Nice staff and good restaurant. The rooms were fine but a person has to understand older hotels don't have elevators in many instances, so plan for that."

"The hotel is very handy for town centre with onsite parking. The manager and staff were all very friendly and helpful if you had a query. The evening meals were very excellent with freshly made individual cooked breakfasts 🍳 n the morning. Tea/ coffee and toast brought to the table. Great service."
