Palmera Inn and Suites

10/10 Excellent

"The room was very spacious, bed was comfy— breakfast was very well maintained and great choices"

Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island

8/10 Good

"The hotel has been remodeled and, since we visit every two years, is much improved. The breakfast buffet was very good but may be overpriced for families in a limited budget. I had requested a room on a high floor, but was given a room on the 5th floor. Although moderately high our view was blocked by a building on the south side of the hotel. The hotel has 10 floors and with the arrival of a hurricane, one would think they could have assigned a room on a higher floor."

Marriott Savannah Riverfront

8/10 Good

"The hotel was great; very clean, nice amenities, easy check in, and friendly staff. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed for my work trip. The proximity to the conference center, shopping, dining, and sightseeing was great. I had one negative issue, and unfortunately, it was a significant enough to prevent my return. The hotel has posted quiet hours beginning at 10pm. However, the bar serves until midnight. The first night wasn't terrible, just the occasional loud bursts of laughter or raised voices. For the remainder of my stay, the bar played football games until last call. The noise of the game and the loud patrons echoed throughout the atrium, (which all balconies overlook) and could be clearly heard in my room. When I called the desk to inquire about why the noise was permitted to continue beyond the quiet hour, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done, as long as the bar was open. The man was very kind and polite, but it was clear that the concern was out of his hands. Needless to say, I did not sleep well and was exhausted by the end of my trip. Traveler beware - quiet hour may begin much later than advertised."
