"Clean, great staff. Quiet. One thing- no microwave in room which was shocking - so we missed out on popcorn and warming up our food after a long drive. And tv was not a smart tv- which with this level of hotel and price point you would think would be a given. Had to watch whatever was playing at the time -a huge Step back in time. Other than that- it was a great stay. "

"Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. "
