"The entire staff was very nice and helpful and cheerful. They clearly like their jobs. The room was very clean. Special mention for Adrian who transported me from and to the airport, very knowledgeable about the country and its culture. I loved the breakfast. I will stay there again."
"The staff is friendly most of the time. The best person was Daisi, kitchen area and the morning chef, Mr. Ellis and Daisi always had an smile on her face and make me feel at home. The place is beautiful very clean, needs new furniture but everything was very nice, we will go back when we can. David was very nice too."
"The property was very well maintained. The balcony views were breathtaking. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The ferry access to the mainland was very easy to navigate."
"Great location! Easy to walk most of the island. Used the provided bikes one day and was able to explore farther parts of the island. We upgraded to an ocean front room , which had a decent view of the ocean over the building in front. Balcony chairs only had one cushion for 2 chairs. Glass gets super dirty with bird droppings and never cleaned during our stay. No onsite bar as we thought, but there is a convenience store next door and a restaurant across the street, so we just brought our own drinks when hanging out in the pool at the end of the day. Bed was comfortable. Had an issue with a leaking toilet, they added more caulking (I get it, its hard to get supplies to the island, but it was clearly a problem before we arrived based on the amount of caulk already on it). Overall it was good."
"As a road warrior over decades, I have seen good and bad, but I have rarely seen the attentiveness of the staff such as here at the Grand Resort.
Always pleasant but exceptionally helpful. I had an emergency shoe repair needed for my only dress pair, and it was late on a Sunday when it was identified. The staff worked out where to get glue, sent a courier, and within an hour it was repaired. Incredible! I have literally never seen anything like it.
The next day my meeting ran late, and there was the hotel driver still waiting patiently after 45 minutes.
Just an incredible group, and management has reason to be proud of their selection of this team and what great efforts they go to for the hotel.
I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this team, especially those at the Front Desk and with shuttle driver need special recognition.
I will definitely be back, and encourage my other business associates to also make this their hotel of choice."
