"We felt right at home coming to the EJ Bowman house. Scott and Diane were so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the beautiful architecture and history of this historic place. The breakfast was five stars. Diane made sure there were snacks, coffee, and tea whenever we needed. Everything was clean and had a peaceful vibe. We would highly recommend this place."

"The property is completely misrepresented. It is big, unkept, dirty and uncomfortable. You have to climb up on a 3rd floor with no elevator available. The rooms are big and spooky with some kind of statures of Indians. Beds are uncomfortable. The pool is there and trash is swimming there as it is not available for swimming. Awful!"

"Very clean establishment and hotel room that is right on the Main Street of Strasburg. The area is quiet and safe. The split unit in our room, (room 3), made a loud rattling noise whenever the thermostat kicked on…which was about every 45 minutes or so. That made it difficult to sleep as we were woken up every hour. Breakfast is offered at the Speckled Hen, which is about 1/4 mile away. The food and staff are exceptional. Having an ice cream parlor connected to inn was convenient and dangerous...

"Just the cutest place to stay. The room was perfect, a large bathroom a small twin bed room between the bed and the bathroom, that you can put your luggage on. A wonderfully kept old manor. Breakfast was lovely, met some great people including the owner. Could not have been better!"
