Visited with family, including 2 teenagers who love football. It's a short transfer from the airport - around €10 in a standard taxi. There's a fab supermarket across the road and the biggest hypermarket I've ever seen is over at Colombo Mall. We used Alto dos Moinhos tube to get around the city - although Google Maps always suggested one that was farther away.
The hotel staff were all lovely, going out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We were in a 2 bed apartment, with a fantastic view, great living space and 2 bathrooms. Great AC.
We loved the pool and all of the communal spaces. Meals were lovely, too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
