Traumhafter Blick auf Vulkan

Wir waren das zweite Mal da und würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren. Roberto ist ein lieber Hausgeist und sehr aufmerksam. Immer um das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. Auch die Inhaber sind überaus herzlich. Für uns ist es eine wundervolle ländliche Wohlfühloase am Fuße unserer geliebten Mamma Etna.

No staff at the place, closed reception. Such a lovely place, with beautiful surrondings, but we felt like we were visiting a closed hotel. Had booked two nights, was so disapointed that we decided to leave after just one night.

Wunderschönes Weingut in klasse Landschaft

Der Empfang ist professionell doch etwas unterkühlt. Allgemein ist das Personal zwar korrekt aber etwas unprsönlich. Die Anlege ist wunderschön. Der Blick auf den Ätna ist einzigartig. Und der Pool ist ideal nach einem anstrengenden Tagesausflug. Wir hatten das Glück einer Weinprobe und kamen in den Genuss von 5 sehr guten Weinen des Gutes. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

A little disappointing

We were traveling through Sicily and decided to stay at the Valle Galfina for only one night while exploring the Mt Etna area. It was tricky to locate the property due to limited signage but things began well with a welcome and glass of wine. However, we seemed to be the only people staying and the owner disappeared for the remainder of the day. Doors were locked and we had to figure out neither the restaurant or bar were open. At about 9pm the owner knocked on the room door to ask for payment (including a charge for the wine). When when we left the property the following morning, we needed a staff person to open the gate to allow us to exit. We had looked forward to enjoying a tour of the winery, tasting wine and enjoying regional food - unfortunately (and perhaps because we were the only guests) what we experienced was odd and a little amateurish.

Friendly and lovely winery

The agriturismo is situated uphill towards Etna with stunning views to the volcano. It's a winery and we got a private tour from the owner. Great to hear about the wine making process and see everything. There's a nice pool on the grounds and there's a possibility to enjoy dinner at the estate. We did this and the food, wine and scenery was great! Breakfast was very good and only downside really was that our room lacked an airconditioner so the nights were very hot. But would definitely go again!

Så trevligt boende! Vi var vid detta tillfälle de enda gästerna boende på gården. Vi möttes av stor gästvänlighet, de var väldigt måna om att vi skulle ha det bra. Tog hand om oss. Plus för fint, rent, bra rum för en familj på 5 personer. Vi åt en mycket god hemlagad middag på plats, väldigt gott och trevligt. Kan bara rekommendera denna pärla, nära till Taormina för bad, nära till Etna för utflykt och nära till Linguaglossa för goda middagar. Karin

Beautiful wineyard-agriturosmo hotel!

The hotel is located directly in a wineyard with its own winefactory with a good view to the etna. The rooms are quite big, very clean, comfortable bathroom. The breakfast was better than expected, service was fine. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel on its own parking area. The hotel is not directly in the city but maybe 2kms away from the next restaurant or cafe. So all in all, it's a very good place to stay!

Sehr schön gelegen mit Blick auf den Ätna. Zimmer sind groß und für das Frühjahr mit Heizung ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit nochmals buchen.

In every step was something wrong

From the very beginning we were unlucky with this hotel. 1. The address indicated by hotel was not found by navigation. Thus, the owner has to think how to help their costumer easier find them without calling. 2. Despite the fact hotel was totally empty, we got the apartment room together with other the only couple in hotel. The only door was dividing us, therefore we can hear every word people were talking. 3. Despite the fact hotel was indicating that they have a Wi-fi, again it was a problem with password. They didn’t know that. 4. Despite the fact in our reservation was mentioned that we are 3 people and total price per room was indicated, they charged us 20 EUR more for extra person. 5. Breakfast was very poor and late…. It was the worst place we had in Sicily.
