We love staying at The Embassy, however we were not satisfied with our recent stay. We booked a room with double beds and they gave us a room with a King. The said that their computer overbooked the rooms.

The location is the main pull of this hotel, but the staff and amenities are what make the stay worthwhile. The evening reception is little more than chips and raw veg, so don't expect the big spread of food they had years ago. Overall it was a pleasant stay for one night.

This hotel opened in 2005. And I started staying there that year. It was amazing! 18 years later they haven't updated a thing as far as furnishings. They updated the manager's reception by limiting your drinks. This property has started an update. About 8 years late. Its ridiculous that they couldn't at least put in new device friendly lamps because the rooms are not set up for today's electronics. I loved this hotel. I don't know that I'll ever go back. These updates were promised two years ago. And they are just getting them started. Ridiculous!

We LOVE this place! We stay here for our annual Christmas shopping trip. The breakfast is the best ive ever had in a hotel and the area is fantastic for walking around. If i could recommend one thing about the amenities in the room. With all of the electronic gadgets we have now USB outlets would be a huge help. We had to change up a few of our charging ports but a minor inconvenience. Otherwise its a 5 star stay like always. Thanks!

The valet parking is such a mess it backs up onto the street. Avoid it if you can as there is a garage for half the price right across the street. Total chaos trying to get in.
The rooms don't have plugs or ports by the nightstand. Very odd. And the TV's are a good 8-10 years old.
Service was very good and location is perfect for UNL.

We really like the free drinks at happy hour and the amazing breakfast. The only negative was that our room was freezing. Didn’t matter what the thermostat said. The window was so drafty we were cold the whole time in the back room. The front room with the sofa was fine so it was definitely because of the window.

Love the location. We have been coming down to Basketball games and its an easy walk to arena. Lots of great places to eat. Staff was very friendly. We will be back.

Great location and facilities. If you stay here on a home football weekend, expect to stand in breakfast buffet line for a very long time. Facility sells tickets to public for a pep rally and guests do not have priority. I stood in line for 40 minutes and moved 15 feet and never reached the buffet.
