"The property was not really clean. Walls in room were dirty esp in bathroom. The check in time of 5 is slightly inconvenient as it is late in day and most people arrive earlier. However the hosts were very friendly and helpful and luckily arrived early so we could at least put our bags inside. They responded quickly by email"

"This is the second time we have stayed and we found it just as good as the first time, a month ago. A lovely large room overlooking the canal, very clean, the only drawback being the small , steep set of stairs to the bathroom - a bit perilous in the middle of the night! Also, as I was finishing my shower in the morning the hot water suddenly ran out. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bread, croissants, home made yoghurt, home made jam, and a homemade custard pie! "

"Willieman is a beautiful village. The accommodation was clean with enough space for 5. The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. There is not much “to do” in Willieman but if your travels lead you there, would highly recommend this place to stay. "

"So peaceful and great countryside. Spotlessly clean, Shower is hot and plenty of water. Loved the setting in a rural farming community. Wonderful polite People there. It's a must stay if you are working near by or out for day trips. Everything is secure in parking and rooms. I loved this place. My only disapointment was I cound't take the three friendly goats home from the front yard. This is a must stay at place.I can't praise it enought. "Christine and Olivier have a lovely house and have made it comfortable and welcoming for guests. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was big and airy with a super bed. There is tea and coffee provided and breakfast was just right. We had dinner in Nieppe one night and also in the Chaplin bar across in Belgium. There is a Hyper-U just by the highway if you are looking for bargains ahead of the ferry home. We cycled in to Lille along the canal which was very enjoyable. The park opposite is nice...

"Lovely and clean hotel. Our room was very cozy ( small) but comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful. Free parking behind or on street near hotel. We were staying at the hotel to go to near by war memorials so we did not use the spa. We had the express breakfast which was 10 euros & it was okay."
