Great stay!
Great first experience of a hostel! I felt totally safe as a solo female traveller, the hostel was clean, modern and the staff were friendly. It was also in a lovely part of the town!

I liked the area which is a monument of France and the nearby park, I didn't like the fact of not being able to see the Roland Garros because they don't have a TV. Also Breakfast did not seem that appealing for the price. There was no clarity as to where the C10 could be found, the exits of the Gare are multiple. It would help if it was described as on the same pavement as the Lille Europa station.

Nice place, good location
Check in was fine The family villa is very specious and comfortable, the 2nd floor wood has some holes in it which made my kids afraid to walk on the floor. Shower had very weak ventilation and therefore was smelly after short use

Location was good right in the city center and across from a really good bakery. We had a single room and had to share the bathroom with the entire floor. There should have been more bathrooms per floor. Only one bathroom for the floor was not enough. Bathroom was ok but was plugged in the middle on the night when we went to go use it. Room was quite and comfortable. It is good if you are staying for 1 - 2 nights but it may not be good if staying any longer than that.

This hostel is very close to Lille city center, 10 mins walking, in a beautiful neighborhood with many fashion shops,bistros, cafes and restaurants. There is a typical French style living around the premises. There is a bar that is open in the evenings and many locals come to enjoy a drink and there is a good energy in the place. Staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served in the morning for additional cost. The hostel kitchen is quite spacious. I spent two nights in this hostel and I liked it, in my next trip to Lille I will stay at this same hostel.

1st hostel experience
If you want somthing cheap and close by to bars and restaurants. . Then this is the place to stay. Rooms are at the back on the hotel which means it's quiet and cannot hear outdoor noise. The front of the hotel is a bar. This was my 1st experience at a hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpful and spoken good English. Provided me with travel adaptor and padlock. There was breakfast for €5 at the hostel too. Good for backpackers and solo travelers.

It was a super fun, clean, spacious place to stay. My friend and I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. Super affordable and there is an option for breakfast and a bar downstairs. Oh also has a full kitchen at disposable for all residents. Awesome place !!

Gastama Hostel
I had been travelling up through Europe after spending some months in Lesvos, Greece. I had stayed in hostels in Hungary and Germany - Lille was my last stop before home, and it was a genuine relief to have found a decent hostel. The others I had stayed in were so different, even for politeness of staff, a bit shockingly bad in Berlin as well. It was a relief to be served by genuinely welcoming and helpful staff, the room and bed was perfect and the atmosphere of the place made it better than a hotel, somewhere between a hostel and a hotel. Lille is a favourite city of mine, and this will be a place to recommend and stay in next time I am there.

Une belle escale à Storuman, une hôtel avec de belles prestations, une excellent pdj et des hôtes accueillants et disponibles. Un parking juste à côté et une bonne pizzeria en face L'hôtel est bien situé géographiquement pour faire des randonnées
