Staff were friendly and the room was clean and a good size. Only downside was breakfast, slightly limited selection, especially for hot food, and the staff couldn’t keep up with topping things back up.

A warm welcome

A warm welcome and continued excellent service from the staff. We stayed during the Braderie and although the location of the hotel was extremely busy, the rooms were quiet. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Clean and comfy

We booked the hotel as it had twin rooms. And we had come for the Braderie. It's in a good Central location and is easy to walk to most places in the central part of Lille. Rooms are small but clean and comfy and sound proofing was very good. Staff were outstanding, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Big shout out to the reception staff who were super helpful - especially John at breakfast who was quick to fill up empty stations and very kindly brough me a boiled egg when I asked if they had any. Would stay hete again if twin rooms were needed.

Convenient location to walk around Lille. Staff were excellent, especially Julia at reception who gave fabulous restaurant recommendations and even booked us a table. Bedroom was a little compact, but had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Nice hotel, and a great value

Very nice room, good breakfast, and on-site parking. Within walking distance of natural history museum, churches and other sites. The women at the front desk were SUPERB! Great help, friendly, willing to go the extra mile.

Really great location for seeing Lille. We went for the Olympics so needed a transport route which was very easy to get to. Walking to town was also very easy and very near beaux-arts museum for a great day out. Breakfast was OK but handy to have this available. We liked having the bar as well for an end of evening drink

It’s at the heart of Lille for a reasonable price. Lille is a small place where you can walk everywhere. So the hotel is really well located and you can go walking to everywhere, since old Lille, the centre, the bus station, the main park. The service it’s amazing and the rooms are really good to spend the night.

Standard hotel with no particular charm

Too expensive for what it is. It is a standard hotel with no charm and nothing special in a lesser attractive part of town. The plastic sheets says it all. You can do so much better in Lille. The breakfast included was fine and people were nice.

Our bedroom was very cold. The heating did not work. We were given a convection heater to take the chill off. There was no hot water to shower, in the evening nor in the morning. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

The area didn’t feel particularly safe although it was close to the centre. The a/c didn’t work, the room was on the small side as was the bed. The entry and exit to the car park were very very tight. In other hotels we’ve stayed in during this trip we were able to make hot drinks in the breakfast area for free but we had to pay here. The lady at check in was very friendly and super helpful. Checkout was quick too

More budget than budget

Basic accommodation & no clothing storage space for anything more than 2 nights. Bathroom required a good clean especially around the shower area, toiletries a good addition. Breakfast very basic, more fat on the bacon than meat. Sunday morning breakfast room totally overrun, too many guests not enough food, condiments. Staff on the reception very pleasant & helpful.
