Hotel Phillips Kansas City Curio Collection by Hilton
4/10 Poor
"First off. I never take the time for reviews. But for my fellow travelers, this time, I will make an exception.
Front desk staff extremely rude. Rooms dirty dust everywhere and you can tell that the place is not well kept. No basics like refrigerator or microwave. Had to request a microwave be sent to my room again. Staff very annoyed.
Tried to bring up some issues to the management and they said “will pass that on to the appropriate department”. I think we know what that means.
Zero air conditioning in hallways or elevators.
Will say the men and women outside of the hotel running the valet service were spot on. They were fast they were friendly, and they were on it! Kudos to you guys."
"We've stayed here 5 or 6 times prior for business. This ladt time the experience was terrible. We were given the last room on the hall and told to park around back. DON'T EVER park around back. Our truck was broken into, both back windows smashed out and work tools stolen. They took anything in a box.
I'm not saying don't stay here, just be VERY CAREFUL parking. There's not a camera in sight so Management is zero help. Park at your own risk and NEVER around the back ."
