After using the bathroom i go to wash my hands and noticed a wet wash cloth just siting on the vanity. The trash has been taken out and had new bags installed. The shower seemed to be clean. "The hotel staff is the property’s greatest asset. They are friendly, accommodating, professional, and consistently deliver great customer service. The Challenges: The property is outdated, which could be overlooked if the maintenance and stocking were proactive, but unfortunately, they weren't. "For the price it’s grate. It’s about 30 min away from the marine base, it is an hour away from ILH, and everything is in basically Wilmington. Jacksonville has some places but it doesn’t have nearly as much at Wilmington. The room was pretty clean. No bugs or weird stuff. So, I would say that the hotel was pretty nice. Thor coffee is good too. I’m a sucker for hotel coffee."

"Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Clarion Hotel, the hotel lobby is very beautiful, the marble floors are state-of-the-art, it appears that a lot of thought was put into the design of the lobby.The hotel staff was very friendly. When pulling up to the hotel, it was aesthetically very pleasing. "Literally nothing about the place is worth the cheap price. Be ready for roaches galore, loud neighbors and staff that’s more concerned about kicking you out and doubling their money on a room than any kind of “service”. The “pet friendly” motel waited 36 hours to decide to enforce their pet deposit and fees and when we told them the desk never told us about any such charges immediately called the police and had us put out. PAY A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND GO ELSEWHERE !!!! Trust me"

"Rooms were clean, quiet and the beds were comfy. The pool was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good. The ladies were very good about restocking it when it ran out and they were really sweet.
