"The room was clean, warm, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite, although we couldn’t find anyone at the bar when we wanted to check in and we couldn’t find a bell. It is an old building and the stairs to our room were quite steep and narrow and quite a lot of them. They allowed us to park in the car park for the two days, although we were only staying the one night."

"From the outside the Cornish Arms looks just like a local pub, but step inside and you instantly know it is anything but. It is very stylish indeed. Our room which was their standard double room,was very chic and we loved all the furnishings and attention to detail.It had a king size bed with high quality linen and was so comfy. We enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast too. "

"I loved my stay here. My host and landlord, Gary, was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable with a fantastic power shower and comfy bed for the night. The dining was wonderful and of an extremely high standard both with the quality of the food and the speed of service which was fantastically prompt.
