"A great location and the proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel deserves 5 stars but I gave 4 because of a pretty active black ant problem in our room. We did not eat or have food in the room but they were all over the place. Definitely a beautiful place. "

"Lorenzo and staff were great! Loved being in the hills and still easy access to train and town. Borrowed bikes to ride north which was nice change from cinque terre. Delicious breakfast on patio and even one very rainy day in which we enjoyed a stormy morning in the villa. ONLY complaint and I hate to even mention it cuz all really was great, but quite a lot of dog barking in the valley so not next door but still audible in the distance most of the night, even during the storms. "Al Terre di Mare was the perfect place for our 3 nights in Cinque Terre. The hotel is charming and clean, with gorgeous views and a wonderfully-appointed room with everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing and we benefited greatly from the hotel shuttle which transported us to and from the town and the train station multiple times. We were thrilled to be staying near but not in the 5 towns and Levanto is a great town. Pool season was over so we didn’t use it but the owners packed us a beautiful breakfast the morning we left because it was so early. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and friendly. We loved it and would stay there again any time. Grazie!"
