This is a very convenient location in the center of the country, providing easy access to most destinations in the Netherlands. It’s right off the major highways as well. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the hotel is in great condition. The rooms are very spacious.

I booked for 2 nights and the room given was really great, spacious with balcony. Because I liked it so much, I booked for 2 more nights within the same hotel, the room I booked was more expensive and supposed to be a superior room but upon changing room, I found cob webs, dust, it was a very old room, no A/C and unfurnished. The entire room made me so depressed that I didn’t wanna stay further. I called the reception to ask if I can change room, they told me they are fully booked, I asked if I can downgrade the room the same type of room I stayed for first 2 nights, they said cannot. The receptionist was quite rude, I asked for a refund they didn’t give. This was not the kind of service I was expecting. Such old rooms, especially if it was more expensive than ordinary rooms, should even better maintained. The photos were absolutely misleading. In the end, I had to ask Expedia to help with the refund process.

The location of the property is convenient for me. The hotel is conveniently located near the highway. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are large, clean, and well maintained. It was a pleasant stay and met my expectations.

Well there are 2 van der valk hotels in Amersfoort. We didn’t book into the one we thought we had, but it was fine. Big rooms all with a balcony, nice bar and restaurant!

No Longer A Reasonably Priced Breakfast, €19.50 PP

I have stayed at this hotel for the last 20 years and its has always been very reasonably price if you ever wanted breakfast in the morning. However, breakfast has now become extremely expensive as they are charging €19.50 per person!!!!

The information on the TV, was not up to date regarding costs of breakfast, ie increased from 14.5 € to 19€ bit expensive. No news in English available. Ambiguous literature regarding “ regarding the redemption of non cleaning vouchers”

Not happy with the quotation.

I was happy with the hotel, but absolutely not happy with Hotels.com. They confirmed to me one price and to the Hotel another one - higher. Of course they charged me that. Hotel helped me to solve the problem, but it took them almost two days to fix it.

Der Preis war super und die Unterkunft super ordentlich, modern und gepflegt. Auch wenn man ein Stück in die umliegenden Großstädte fahren muss, ist in der Nähe alles was man benötigt. Klare Empfehlung!! Der Service sollte noch seine Erwähnung finden. Egal ob Rezeption, Kellner oder der Zimmerservice, alle waren super nett und zuvorkommend

Het hotel/kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. Bij binnenkomst in de kamer, rook deze een beetje muf, maar nadat de deur van het balkon een half uur uad open gestaan, was de geur verdwenen.

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Makkelijk en snel kunnen inchecken. Vriendelijke personeel. Een hele mooie en grote kamer. Super schoon en modern. Enige minpunt is dat de deur sloot maar niet voldoende waardoor alles wat er op de gang gebeurde erg gehorig was. Zeker aan te raden.
