"The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis....

"The absolute best bed & breakfast in San Francisco! Cleanest rooms, friendliest and most attentive staff, great location, most delicious breakfasts and snacks/baked goodies throughout the day. Our son graduated from USF this past Saturday and we’ve consistently stayed here. On our next trip to S.F., just to visit and explore more we’ll stay there again!"

"clean and in a good spot. Felt very safe. A lot of the stuff is new and seems like it’s ikea furniture so I’m not sure how long it will last but looks great. Whoever redid the motel took some shortcuts when redoing it (the grouting, bathroom sink wobbles, bathroom door didn’t latch when you shut it) but all and all it was very nice and definitely recommend staying again."

"Stayed here for a couple of weeks. Bed is large and comfy, and the room is adequate with a little couch. The housekeepers are really nice. There's a little window for some sunlight though you'll want to turn on the light during the day. Great stay, no weird smells. Only thing is you will hear laughing/drunk people/bar music on the weekend nights but just turn on the ac/heater and it will drown them out haha."

"We were in a room on Fillmore street across from a beer garden. To no fault of the hotel, we had a lot of noise that made it hard to sleep until after the bar closed each night. That being said, the room was perfect, the car was safe, we had an incredible stay. Next time I’ll bring earplugs and will stay here again and again. Thank you all!"

"The room was clean and the staff were attentive. The location of the hotel was perfect. So why did I take a star off? Well, first of all the beds were not very comfortable. The beds were too soft and kinda sloped off the sides so you felt like you were going to roll off. The bathroom layout was ridiculous; there was a ton of empty unused space in the bathroom when more counter space would have been helpful. "The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. Will definitely return to stay again. Thank you Azizza!"

"Great location. Too noisy. Checking out was via a computer in the lobby with a screen. I’m not sure if the person on the screen was someone in USA or in another country. There was a strong curry smell. Best was the free parking."

"The hotel is in a great location. Although it is an older property, it is well-maintained and clean. The breakfast was very basic, but more importantly, the hotel offers parking, which is a valuable amenity in that area. The staff was friendly, nice, and helpful throughout our stay."

"Small rooms with very limited parking. Although street parking is free on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) but finding a spot is challenge. No microwave in room. If you stay for more than 1 night they do clean rooms every day and replace all towels and do the bedding as well. Overall its a decent place to stay for the price. Pros:- Very close to golden gate, public transport is good, waterfront is close, lots of food option near by Cons:- Limited parking, No microwave, small room"
