"The staff are fabulous! The room was comfortable and clean; an oddity is that the door from the room into the bathroom is see through so if you have a guest it is not private. The pool looked clean but is only 3' deep, the ladders looked a bit loose; I did not venture into the pool. The property itself seems very safe--a security guard at the gate to enter the walled property, a front desk staff, then you need your key card to even get into the hallway where rooms can be accessed. "This hotel is not really managed in any meaningful sense. Wifi went down for three days, which meant going off to another hotel to work. They gave me a carton of orange juice by way of apology! The lady at reception also didn't know that only one of the POS machines works for international cards so lots of time wasted try to make a payment. I checked out and moved to Nordic hotel -- more expensive but at least stuff works and you can get things done. I should say that staff at the View are...
