The rooms were clean, staff very friendly, front desk and restaurant staff all lovely people. Helen, the restaurant coordinator, was the most helpful, smart, people person I meet in awhile. Peter, the bellhop, very helpful at all times and always with a pleasant welcoming smile. I enjoyed my stat immensely.

The staff at Lilygate are exceptional. I was created by my name as soon as I walked in the door! Nice touch. In addition, I was created with a refreshing cold bottle of water and juice. Ms. Chinyere Kalu, leader at the front desk was a perfect example of providing excellent customer service. She arranged my transportation from the airport to Lilygate, as well as from Lilygate to Ouidah, Benin. If I lived in Lagos, I would hire Ms. Kalu. If you're looking for a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience in Lekki, remember to stay at Lilygate. Thank you to everyone! Well done!

The staff are amazing. They were always eager to help. The restaurant manager Helen was amazing. Always greeting you with a smile. All the staff made me feel welcomed. I can see they all cared about my safety. I will use Lilygate again

Everything went well. Except for the Front office supervisor or manager, the lady in glasses. She is not hospitable and not willing to attend to guest's request. She needs more training on how to respond to guests while under pressure. The receptionists, Chiamaka, Happiness and porter on duty are superb. Everything else was nice, room clean and well decorated. I enjoyed my stay. I will still come again.

Aside the late night band playing really loud music from the bar downstairs, it was a great experience. The staff were really nice and friendly. I'd give them an 11/10 if I could. Clean rooms.

I stayed at this The Lilygate for a week and I loved my experience! The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Some aspects of my standard room could be updated but overall this is a wonderful hotel.

Very nice nigerian style

It was a good experience. The staff is nice and most of them well prepared. They represent the nigerian culture which is amaizing. Very nice facilities, and they're now remodelating to keep updated.

I stay at the Lilygate was amazing. The staff was friendly, kind and very helpful. The was able to assist me with ride to get to another point. Any questions I asked they extended their hospitality to help. Manager is a great person. I came in a day later and had contacted the hotel and she responded by letting me my room will still be reserve for me. I appreciated the staff hospitality and support to make a stay comfortable as if I was home.

My and my wife's stay at the Lilygate was first-class from start to finish! The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent! The decor and presentation of the hotel was beautiful, with lots of African-inspired art work throughout! The food was amazing, well-presented and freely available at any time, including room service. We had breakfast include which was a seamless process to sign for everytime we ate. The rooms were beautifully presented and outfitted with all the basic amenities needed such as toiletries, a safe, fridge and also had a small balcony. There were some minor issues such as the air conditioning unit having some condensation which dripped but when told about this, the front desk staff explained what we needed to do (vent the room from time to time due to the humidity) and the problem was resolved. The hotel was very safe, with security staff at the main gates. The local area itself was very safe and well-outfitted as well with numerous grocery stores, restaurants and bars, hair salons and any other things you may need. The hotel also has a well-maintained pool and gym with an excellent personal trainer. There is also an outdoor bar and grill with great food and nightly entertainment which is first-class! I highly recommend staying at the Lilygate and definitely will be back!

The air conditioner in my room did not work. I called them as soon as I checked in and they brought someone to fix it. That fixed only worked that night and it went back to not being functional the next day. I called two more times to have someone fix it. I got fed up and requested a room change which they said the hotel was full and they could not accommodate until the next day. The power went out in the room twice overnight. They again sent a worker to come fix the power but it was very disruptive to my sleep this was around 3 AM and 4 AM. On my last night they switched me to a new room or the AC was working and no power issues. I would not recommend staying here due to these problems. You have to call multiple times to get anything addressed, the customer service is not good.
