"The room was clean and tidy but basic. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking was offsite. However it was very noisy from outside and inside. Floorboards even though is normally cleaner allowed more noise to transfer including through the interconnecting door."

"Room and bathroom was clean, a bit small for a family room. once the sofa bed was made up we couldn’t use the chairs with coffee table. The linen and towels weren’t refreshed and just folded and put back for re-use which we didn’t like at all.
The bed was “made” but not cleaned before tidying it. Please keep an eye on both of these if you are fussed about the “hotel” experience.
Our room was not hoovered during our stay.
Paid a premium price for a 4 star local hotel, then we paid extra...

"My nephew and I had to relocate our hotel from the Premier at the last minute due to a change in the date of the Leicester City game, so we booked into the Bell Gate House. Having seen some reviews, we weren't expecting a great deal, just somewhere to sleep. However, despite the unassuming entrance in a perhaps slightly rundown area of town, we were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel.
The room was very clean and smart, even included (a very slightly bashed) fridge, which we didn't use....

"Top notch. Great communication from the vendor before arriving and they met me there when I arrived. Clean flat, safe access, well stocked. Car parking was free 6pm to 7am and you can pay via the app or pay £20 in the NCP. Will definitely use again. "

"The hotel and staff wee very good. The main reason I’ve marked them down is the fact that you cannot co tact the hotel directly by phone. I tried at least four times and spent about an hour listening to pretty awful piped music holding the line open.
The parking was a problem in as much that you have to pre-book. This isn’t mentioned during the booking process but only after you’ve booked in an email from the hotel.
As ours was a flying visit to visit a poorly relative urgently I couldn’t book...

"The staff are the best thing about this hotel. Every single person i encountered was super friendly and helpful.. going above and beyond to make me feel and my mum feel welcome.
Room is reasonable with comfy mattress but pillows are terrible. Bring your own if you can. Bathroom door didn't close and main door didnt lock upon closure. We eventually got it to lock by swinging it wide open and letting it slam shut.. which I'm sure the neighbouring guests will have loved.
We didn't have breakfast...
