"This is one of our go-to places to stay when we visit family in Murray. I was especially pleased this time around because, even though I requested a pet-free room for my son with allergies, I was told online that they couldn't guarantee it. However, when we arrived, they told me they had placed us in a pet-free room. The consideration is appreciated.
My only grievance is the lack of a coffee maker in the room. Granted, they have coffee in the lobby (maybe even 24 hours a day), but if you go during the continental breakfast, you have to fight around the people getting their breakfast. And the reality is, the nice thing about a coffee maker in the room is that you don't have to get dressed and go down to the lobby when you wake up and just want a cup without the hassle."
"Super nice staff and great room with a full kitchen. Above average breakfast bar and great location with lots of restaurants and away from the freeway so no noise. Undergoing a minor renovation which is why I gave it 3 stars for cleanliness but it's great that they're improving the interior."
"Pros: Kitchen appliances were helpful, staff was friendly, newer property, bed comfortable, bathroom clean, convenient location (BYU and UVU nearby; Top Golf right next door!!)
Cons: Doors are loud when they close, and I was on the first floor with some road noise. Floors could have been a little cleaner.
Overall, I would stay again, especially for the price I paid."
"The room was great, clean, and inviting, and the temperature was set just like I like it. The staff was good, but when I went to leave, no one was at the front desk, and there was no clear place to drop off my room key, so I left it by the keyboard.
Didn't use the laundry service.
Breakfast was okay. The eggs and sausage were lukewarm and tasted like they were leftovers. But I'm no expert.
Still love staying here. I travel a lot for work, and I will stay at TRU hotels everywhere they are available."
"I have eaten a lot of Caesar salads, but by far theirs is the best one I’ve ever had! My compliments to the chef! I live in Salt Lake and my friends do too, so I will be telling them to get takeout from your hotel!"
