"The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay."

"Fabulous hotel. Welcoming staff, great food (dinner and breakfast), easy to find, loads of parking. Children welcomed, even really tired and grumpy ones after a full day at Legoland nearby. Only minor criticism is no fridge in hotel room (despite a deceptive-looking fridge shaped cupboard!) which would’ve helped us out a lot with our picnic for the following day. "

"Amazing location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, the theatre and of course the castle. The apartment was clean on arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. "

"Clean room, excellent breakfast bar and all-day menu, lovely view from the brasserie on to the Thames. Also, very convenient to train, Castle, restaurants and shops. Disappointed to have a room with a poor window view on to a narrow passage way. A couple of other minor irritations could be resolved through calls to reception/maintenance staff. I’d stay there again, but would stipulate room preferences."

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

"They hotel had double booked and we were turned away. No room. As two elderly travellers I was appalled to have to drive straight back home 100 miles in the evening. Staff just said they couldn't help"

"Charged twice for parking. Building and room in particular very tired and in need of renovation for the price they charge. Waiter messed up our breakfast both days. We stayed in room 45 which a separate building which was off the carpark beside the main building. There were flood lights for the carpark which were on a timer that didn’t switch off till after 10.30pm with very poor window coverings we all struggled to get to sleep. All in all worst hotel we’ve stayed at in many years. "

"We had a lovely weekend stay for my partner’s birthday. The views from the room were beautiful and it was really nice to have a private balcony overlooking the river. It was only a couple of minutes drive to Bray Village, which was perfect, as we were having dinner at one of the restaurants. The breakfast the following day was delicious too, and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. Thank you "
