"Great housekeeping"

"Excellent location if you want to be in the beautiful old town area of San Diego. It is a historical building and a museum with a nice historical charm. On certain days of the week, you will have to call a number so that you can be checked in. It was my first time to stay here and when I arrived at past 3pm on a Tuesday, I couldn't find the entrance, since all the doors were closed. I didn't realize you have to call them first. "The place could have been a little cleaner on the inside and we did have a leak in our room, but overall it was friendly staff good amenities, and a decent day for the price"

"Nice hotel, close to everything."

"Close to old town and easy come and go would definitely be back"

"The complimentary breakfast was the best we’ve had. We stayed 4 nights and there was a variety of offerings daily. The manager and staff were extra accommodating and very kind. Beds are always the best at Hampton."

"I stayed for 3 nights, during that time the cleaning only provided clean towels 1 day only. I asked for additional coffee replacement and i had to go to the lobby for pick up."

"The hotel is under renovation. It didn’t feel at all like a Sheraton. The women who checked us was great and explained how long it took for the renovation to take place, but how hard it’s been to endure it. The is no restaurant, so room service was was not easy for two 88 year old women. The room was okay, but not wonderful. One could see the aging, with broken plugs and inadequate charging facilities. Etc."

"Rooms were really clean and comfortable. Request for services were addressed quickly. Staff was very nice and friendly."

"Everything was great! staff was friendly. would stay here again"
