"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "The location was close to the high street and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions in the Cotswolds. The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. These small points aside, we had an enjoyable stay overall."

"The room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely big shower. The hotel was very nice and again very clean. Great bar. As you walk in to the reception it is very grand like walking into a beautiful Manor House. Breakfast was very nice with plenty to choose from. The problem I had was it said in the booking email they check in was 2pm. It isn’t it’s 3pm . So be careful."

"We were disappointed with the meal and service on the night we ate at the hotel. We felt the menu had limited choices and we both had fish and chips and the fish was quite greasy. The service was limited as there was a large golfing group in the buffet area that needed to be dealt with, so perhaps it would have been better had they not needed all the staff to deal with them. The parking was great and plenty of room for many cars. The breakfast on both morning was good and plenty to chose from. The reception staff on arrival were helpful and whilst we were shown a double bed room they quickly changed it into a twin bed configuration that we had originally asked. We would stay again but maybe eat off the premises in the evening."
