Tenuta Monacelli was the best hotel of our Italy stay. Absolutely stunning location, beautiful accommodation and amazing staff. Selena at the reception and Mimo at the restaurant really helped out stay make special. If you’re staying here, make sure to book the restaurant. It was so good, especially the white wine that Mimo recommended. Italy is quite far from our home but we’d love to come back just for the sake of staying at this hotel again!

Tenuta Monacelli is located in the countryside outside of Lecce, surrounded by olive groves, manicured gardens, event spaces and 2 masserias, which have been beautifully renovated and updated. With ample morning breakfasts, dining in the evening and the office which provides wonderful local recommendations. Highly, highly recommend it.

We were lucky to have stayed in the Tower Suite. It was amazing beyond description and above all expectations. This place is super amazing and we highly recommend anyone to stay here. If at all possible try to get the Tower Suite. It is huge and very special. Once on a lifetime experience.

Terrible !

Awful ! We walked out and couldn’t get a refund. Our horrible, dirty and uncomfortable room was a long walk away from the facilities. Staff uninterested. Not cheap either and charged €5 for an egg (not plural !) at breakfast which was included. So do not stay here!

Rustig hotel in natuurdomein

Aangenaam hotel in mooi domein vol olijfbomen met oude toren en restanten uit de Romeinse tijd op het domein. Het heeft tal van rustige en verrassende hoekjes. Het domein is opgedeeld in verschillende complexen met tussenin een prachtige boomgaard en zwembad.'s Avonds is het ook nog is heel mooi verlicht.

Super vakantie ! Mooie gedecoreerde kamer in een 16 de eeuwse Masseria , mooi gerestaureerd . Uitzicht op olijfbomen vanop terras kamer en toren van Masseria . Prachtig binnenkomen aan de tenuta , ongelooflijk verzorgd , rustig, groot zwembad met schaduw onder de grote olijfbomen . Uitstekend ontbijt en zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

Stupenda masseria immersa negli ulivi

Location eccezionale in prossimità di Lecce, composta da due antiche masserie collegate da un bel sentiero tra ulivi secolari. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Ristorante di buon livello. Sicuramente da visitare.

Beautiful and relaxed setting

This is a stunning place to stay. Our room in Tenuta Monacelli (no. 1) was both traditional and stylish, with a vaulted ceiling and huge shower area. The dining experience was second to none, with a menu which changed every day and great service. We paired our meals with local wine, which was surprising good value and good quality. The pool is truly amazing framed by manicured gardens and trees. Very relaxed atmosphere just made this place a gem.

Extremely beautiful surroundings

I found the Tenuta Monacelli to be a lovely place for a quiet getaway. The staff were amazing and only too willing to help make my stay the best they could. The surrounds are gorgeous and very pleasant to stroll through or sit in to reflect on life. The huge pool is wonderful and away from the main buildings making it fairly private. Everywhere is highly maintained and very clean but also has a rustic charm about it. I would certainly go there again in the future and recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday.

ottima soluzione per un tranquillo soggiorno

ottima location all'interno di un grande parco di ulivi, indovinata per chi ama come noi il silenzio e la natura;dotazione di una grande piscina; grande cortesia del personale; ottima accoglienza degli animali domestici (due cani, molto coccolati); ottime colazione e cena; piacevoli le serate a tema (musica locale); scadente l'arredamento delle camere (ci aspettavamo un po' di più, considerato il soggiorno in una junior suite); pulizia "sui generis"; mancanza di alcune accortezze: ad esempio presenza di qualche asciugamano in più e degli accappatoi (c'erano solo quelli strettamente necessari) o delle pantofole, accessori solitamente presenti nelle suite degli alberghi); prezzi comunque assai contenuti e pertanto rapporto offerta/spesa assolutamente positivo.
