"The place was a bit dated. The rooms were plenty large but the chairs were not comfortable. We end bringing a patio chair inside."

"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"This was our first time staying here and it was great overall. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed the pool. We did have to wait for towels for about an hour because they ran out of them, but that was really the only problem"

"The room was clean. Our room had the built in bunkbeds and that gave us decent privacy from our kids. But the bed rail for the top was so close to the ceiling it was a struggle to get in and out. Parking was great. Staff was wonderful. Not much else to the room. One very small tv and since the town closes down by 5:00-7:00 a tv would be nice since it was obviously a room for kids too."

"My room had the Jacuzzi tub.. I specifically came here for that.... The only thing I'll complain about is the doors to the room..or maybe only my room didn't have a controlled close...many times I left the room expecting it to close silently on its own .and it was a loud slam....and I had forgotten several times.. I'm not used to hotel doors not closing with a controller... I unintentionally must have aggravated someone many times.. Other than that the bed was very comfortable...close to some...

"We checked in the 1st room floors were filthy. We back to the bedroom pulled back the sheets to see if the bedding was clean. There was cookie crumbs and lots of pubic hair on the sheets. Management gave us another room and it was filthy also. Shower had hair in the drain no clean towels. The pool liner was bubbling up all over the pool. They had water under the liner. We went to this hotel last year and it was spotless!"

"This was a very nice room, and we would stay again. The bed was comfortable, and there was room to relax. The only complaint was that there were people, probably children, running around above us until late into the night. If we stayed again, I would request a room on the third (top) floor."

"The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot."

"When we first drove up to the place I thought oh no 😭😭! We got in the room it was outdated but the room area was clean and smelled fresh! I always check the bathroom- it was clean. But this what I was wonderful the bed linens was very clean and smelled so fresh and the bed was comfortable. Mama said "you can't judge a book by its cover". It was perfectly quiet atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay at this Red Roof In @ Edinburgh IN It still needs a lot of renovation👍"

"Room was clean and quiet. Good rest. Breakfast was a little lacking so I hit the Waffle House. Staff was very helpful when I couldn’t get into the first room assigned because of a dead battery in the door. I would stay again simply for the peace and quiet."
