While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"The room was clean. Our room had the built in bunkbeds and that gave us decent privacy from our kids. But the bed rail for the top was so close to the ceiling it was a struggle to get in and out. Parking was great. Staff was wonderful. Not much else to the room. One very small tv and since the town closes down by 5:00-7:00 a tv would be nice since it was obviously a room for kids too."

I thought I was reserving Basic King (not a King Suite) and there were 2 price levels for the BK with no explanation in the difference. "We checked in the 1st room floors were filthy. We back to the bedroom pulled back the sheets to see if the bedding was clean. There was cookie crumbs and lots of pubic hair on the sheets. Management gave us another room and it was filthy also. Shower had hair in the drain no clean towels. The pool liner was bubbling up all over the pool. They had water under the liner. We went to this hotel last year and it was spotless!"

"This was a very nice room, and we would stay again. The bed was comfortable, and there was room to relax. The only complaint was that there were people, probably children, running around above us until late into the night. If we stayed again, I would request a room on the third (top) floor."
