Lorsque l'on paie une chambre comprenant un accès au spa (limité 1h/j malgré ce que veut laisser croire l'annonce), la moindre des choses lorsque le spa est inutilisable serait de rembourser la valeur de cette prestation, surtout lorsque la direction traite cette requête au bout d'une semaine après l'incident et malgré 57 minutes passées au téléphone à lutter contre la mauvaise foi de la direction.

I have never written a review for a hotel before, but felt compelled given our recent stay. We "splurged" on this hotel and therefore had expectations that it would be a lovely time. The jacuzzi type tub looked exciting! We filled it up and turned on and the jets shot water ALL over the room. My son screamed in horror begging me to turn it off, but within the few seconds of turning it on it had the room soaked. A mess to clean up. It also shot out black specks into the water after the jets were turned on. Gross. Given the tub was a bust, we tried to use the shower...the open shower also was difficult to control and figure out and then the water for that went everywhere as well. It was not pleasant. The lights were super frustrating. The controls are complex and difficult to figure out. It sounds minor but was super annoying to figure out constantly. They also had strange "colored" lights that you could not get rid of and were really ugly. We changed our plan to check out early and had pre-paid for our stay. We realized we would lose the money on the hotel stay, HOWEVER the hotel also forced us to still pay for our bike rentals even though we returned them early as well as the breakfasts that we were forced to agree to at check-in that we never used. It felt like a rip off especially given the disappointing room.

400m to a wonderful beach

The location is outstanding very close to a magnificent beach and only 5 mins by bicycle to the town which has an excellent market especially for fish. A bicycle is essential travel on Isle de Re and great fun. The rooms are quite amazing and very intimate indeed. The restaurant which is shared with a sister hotel is of a very high standard as is the Ocean restaurant in the town,so good dining alround. Heated pools a bonus.

Tolles Hotel auf einer tollen Insel

Ein tolles Hotel - vor allem die Suiten mit Pool sind wunderbar. Es lohnt sich ein solches Zimmer zu buchen. Man ist privat und hat fast seinen eigenen Bungalow. Die Nähe zum Meer ist ebenso toll, man kann gut abends noch einen späten Strandspaziergang machen. Es herrscht eine ungezwungene und familiäre Atmosphäre.
