"great stay great staff, clean"

"The room was generally clean, but the amenities were terrible. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body soap. There were reusable fillable containers that were empty.. We had no toilet paper. I had to ask for toilet paper and extra towels and we just made do with the one bar of soap we were given. The bed was fine. There is a refrigerator. The breakfast was awful. The coffee maker wasn’t working and then by the time they got it working it was basically Sanka/some powdered coffee mix. "

"It was cute and comfy. Great location and price!! The view was great too as we were in the back and the woods were right there. Also loved being able to open the window for fresh air! Some updates need to be done such as a couple of the window slats were broken. The fan and light in the bathroom didn’t work but the light about the vanity was very bright. There was a few ants but I told management and they went right in and took care of them. "

"Before I even arrived, I received a “goodbye” email — not exactly a welcoming start. Check‑in isn’t allowed until 4pm, yet the lobby closes at 5pm, which is incredibly inconvenient and not customer‑oriented. I didn’t meet a single staff member during my entire stay. The room had multiple issues from the moment I walked in. The towels appeared dirty, and what looked like blood stains on one of the pillows was completely unacceptable. The thermostat was set to 68°, yet the room climbed to 85°...

My wife and daughter indicated that the lobby area Women's bathroom was well used and could use some attention but the Men's room was just fine. The shower heads can use an update but the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The room was serviced each day as well. "My husband and I were in the area for a surgery and because of a reservation mishap at a different hotel we found ourselves having to make a same day reservation at Candlewood. Doug and the rest of the staff made our arrival and check in a breeze, they were even able to accommodate our special requests. The only odd things about this hotel is that it’s built a bit awkwardly with a split entrance way that made things feel cramped leading to the front desk. Also the one ice machine in the hotel...
