Pleasant stay in Lausanne
We stayed here on our visit to see the Christmas Markets. This hotel is on a quiet side street and convenient to the train station and main downtown area. We walked from the train station. We were on the third floor and there was an elevator. We had a room with a balcony and beautiful view of the distant mountains and lake.

The hotel is very close to the train station...albeit up a VERY steep hill (which i did dragging a 50lb suitcase in the rain - not the best first impression of Lausanne). The hotel is pleasant; the staff are very nice. The decor is a little dated - how old were those rugs anyway? - tho i enjoyed the large bathtub after squeezing into tiny showers at the other hotels. I said a little prayer each time i hot into the miniscule &elderly elevator. The bkfast was basic, the coffee was excellent

Hidden gem in Lausanne!
We were thrilled with our stay at Hotel Elite. It is about a 10 minute (uphill) walk from the train station and located on a quiet side street. They kindly stored our luggage until check in and provided us with a city card for Lausanne. It is conveniently located at a roughly 20 minute walk to the beautiful lakefront area of the city. When we arrived in our room we were thrilled to have a lovely balcony where we could enjoy the sunset. We had two comfortable twin beds, a seating area on the balcony, and a spacious room and bathroom. There was not AC (we knew this ahead of time) but there was a fan which kept us cool overnight. The wifi reception was great as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Good location close to the train if you have carryon luggage. Cute, quaint and as we were on the 4th floor, had a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Sitting area where one can read is nice to have. Provided a USB adapter so we could charge our phones so that was great also. Larger room than many in Europe!

Short stay in Lausanne
The hotel was ideal for us as it was within easy reach of the railway station. However, to get there it is quite a trudge either up a cobble street or up stairs... but it is not far. The staff were friendly and helpful and the 3 bedded room we had booked was actually a twin room with a separate room for the third bed (our granddaughter). Breakfast which was included was excellent.

Lovely hotel

Excellent location just 3 min walk from train station and very convenient free (with the card from your hotel) Metro line that 10 min away from the waterfront attractions such as boats around the lake, swimming, marina, Olympic museum, etc. Descent, no thrill breakfast, good air-conditioning, spacious bathroom and very helpful stuff!

A Perfectly Quaint Hotel
A quaint hotel. Close to the train & metro. Quiet inside and outside. We used the courtesy transport pass for metro and buses. The city has hills! The hotel is uphill from the train. Our gps map directed up 60 steps. Better to walk the slightly longer road route both up and down.

We had a nice lake view room with balcony and it was as we expected, clean and airy. We enjoyed bringing back a bite to eat on our balcony and listening to the birds and watching the street below us (not noisy). Close to the train station (steep uphill walk to get to it) but an easy walk back down to the station. The Metro station to take you up and down the hill is nearby and makes it easy to get around. Nice breakfast in the morning and always someone at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay there, we would stay there again, and recommend it for those wishing to stay close to the train station.

Perfect property in every way!!
Great location. Parked by front door on quiet street…left window open all night…no noise. My wife and I cannot praise this place enough!!! And, don’t get me started on a great breakfast buffet kept fresh constantly with included latte, coffee and/or cappuccino. This property made a great Lausanne visit possible.

Parking availability - first come first serve
Free parking? It should say free parking when available. Of course it wasn't and we had to pay 28 CHF a day at a car park down the street. They have around 30 rooms but only 11 parking spaces. Moreover, the internet had almost no connection at all; it'd stop every 2 or 3 minutes. I had to use my hotspot from my phone. Yes, the place is like staying at your grandparents house. That being said, the staff was very nice. Breakfast was pleasant. Aside of the parking and internet, I could recommend this hotel.
