The room needed updating which would have taken care of many of the shortcomings. The water in the shower fluctuates between hot and cold and the bathroom sink had several cracks. The location was great as we could walk to many things.

The location is perfect for us. Also the last two times we stayed, we were on ground floor, which is good for us as there are no lifts. When we checked out the first time the receptionist was happy to book us a similar room. We appreciated this. All in all very happy and would gladly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful old heritage building, very well maintained and nice, comfortable to stay, with all the essentials you need. Pricing is reasonable and it isn't far at all to walk into downtown Launceston. I would definitely stay here again.
