"Staying at The Grand on MacFie allows immersing yourself in exceptional comfort for a reasonable price. When return to Devonport, will stay in The Grand as it was the high point of our lodging during our trip to Tasmania.
Breakfasts are a delight, a five-star dining experience.
It is convenient to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park are easily visited on a day trip.

"The accommodation was excellent. The staff were very hospitable and welcoming. A cosy hot woodfire in the common lounge. A generous breakfast with a cooked option all included. Will recommend.

"Friendly hosts, lovely house. Very happy to make this place my home for two nights.
I would have liked a spot that wasn't the shared bathroom sink to rinse and wash out my coffee press and travel mug, and fill the room kettle. But so saying it was very reasonably priced and the continental breakfast was terrific."

"This was a great find. Owner was very helpful and engaging. Excellent provisions for breakfast, both in terms of quality and quantity. Very quiet and spacious. Abundance of wildlife to see on the veranda. Great shower and laundry useful. Only negative being zero WiFi although very good 4G available. Photos don’t do it justice. "
